Limited Run SIGN UP Doctor Who War Doctor Sonic Screwdriver ALL METAL SPRING LOADED

I got mine today and it's stunning, as one would expect from a Russ sonic! It looks great along with the Russ 4th, TWC 10th and Kursosawa converted 11th! Got the Rubber Toe stands as well for the 10th and 11th and though I had previously stood the 4th on the lower tier of the 10th Doctor's stand, I couldn't resist the urge to put them in order...

Pardon the crude Lego stand, I have to come up with one that better compliments the rest.
 
I just received mine last night, and it's fantastic. I'm so glad to have received it, and more it's on to trying to get the kindness and sound to work. =)

Nevermind them sonics, is that a Link figure next to them? Where did you find a poseable one where Link is left-handed!?

That's the Figma Link. He has interchangeable hands so you can make him left or right handed. He also has an alternate face and hair, sword with sheath, and a shield, plus a stand. I also picked up the Figma Samus figure, with alternate hands and a morph ball version included. Great company, I wish hey made more VG characters!
 
Hey Russ (or anyone else who knows) what kind of paint did you use for the lines on the sonic? A bit of mine came off and I wanted to make sure I used the same stuff to repaint it, thanks

Has anyone got any pictures of the electronics inside a sonic that lights up, I just can't get mind to work, help would be appreciated
 
I recommend a voltmeter to check to see what you're getting from the batteries and then trace the current through the steps to work out where it's going wrong.
maybe try avoiding the switch - just to try to break down where the issue is.
The layout itself is very simple.
Also can you hear the slight click of the switch when the magnet is moved near?

Ps - went to the dr who exhibit in Cardiff yesterday - they didn't have the war docs sonic on display - you should give them a shout Russ.
 
Thanks uk trooper, that sorted it, traced it to the battery case and I think I melted it slightly when soldering so the contacts were slipping out a bit. Got a new one now so should have it up and running soon!
