So - any ideas would be most welcome. I bought a Kobold flash unit. That's right, but not the stumpy ones we all love...I found a 3 cell Kobold!

The thicker knurled band slides up and down and is the mount for the reflector.

Wow nice.. I dig that knurled collar thing.

Could add a custom emitter to the top... Some kind of lower grip section... Maybe a control box of some kind.

You should throw this on there:

as a pommel,

or this:

for an emitter.

Waaaaay back when I did custom lightsaber contests on my website, for all 3 or 4 years it ran, a fully machined saber never won. The winners were always made of random stuff.

Beautifully designed saber and amazing craftsmanship. Dig the lights and stuff. But other than lightsaber sound effects, I don't really get the audio. Not trying to be negative...your work is pretty sick. Maybe its just me.

Thanks in case you were wondering it is the "spoon" from a smoke grenade left behind after the officer cadets finished their training exercise.
My design was inspired by the early concept art. I imagined it being issued to a stormtrooper and as such it is more of a tool than a weapon of elegance. Clearly stormtroopers are not force users so I wasn't too worried about being able to swap hands or let it fly out out of the hand via a force sabre throw. The pommel weighs a ton so it could be used to bludgeon an enemy as well. The belt hook is just the right size to clip on to webbing belts.

How about a sabre that holds and reads jedi holocrons? They would have plenty to say and would be a great advantage to take into any battle. That would make a great deal of sense.
