Senate Guard Helmet Build

Ok, so eventually I have two ready to go :lol. I'll be selling these raw cast (although as you know I have filled any major holes and trimmed down the edges and visor).

So the for sale post is going to go up on the Junkyard next Sat - lunchtime. There's two ready now and a third will be ready early April. I know there's been alot of interest so this will be first come first served, but if do want one when they're gone let me know as I can obviously produce more.

So there is no finished helmet's only the raw cast?Again the helmet llook's good.:thumbsup

Only raw casts Master Boda, I gathered most people would want to paint their own and colour match to their costumes (if they have them).

FYI - For Sale thread has just gone up on the Junkyard

Finally made it onto the RPF and it's been great following the build thread as there's a lot more to it than was posted on the UKG site.

BTW - has anybody got any ideas as to what to use for the visor??I've got some material coming from the maker of my Royal Guard lid (two sheets of black acrylic) but would be extremely interested in hearing what other folk will be using!Never noticed until now the the bottom of the face cut out has a definate angle (90 degrees or so). The acrylic is pretty flexible but I don't know if it can be shaped to that much of an angle!

On a countdown now 'til I get one of these myself.(y)thumbsup

Hi Fab

Wow! That looks amazing even if I do say so myself.

That's a superb paint job and really glad you've updated the thread - thanks!

Firstly, I have rework all the helmet adding gel coat in several coat on gun (coat, sandpapering, coat, sandpapering...) => 3 weeks work

My friend, coachbuilder, has painted on spray gun... after the helmet has remained 45 minutes on furnace at 60 degree to fixe paint.

You know, now, my secret... :cool
