Ok so one of Rick Baker's guys just gave me a head's up on the current bidder for my Arnie Bust on eBay this week, and says that the guy is a front for another eBay seller called "celemasks" and warns me that my bidder has copied several of his pieces in the past.
I thanked him for his concern, invited him here, and have been thinking of ways to cause considerable inconvenience to the other guy should he win my Arnie and try to copy it. :angel
Right off, I'm thinking I could dust the mold with straight sulfur instead of my usual baby powder wich would result in the surface of the silicone not curing and leaving him with a blue gooey mess for his efforts, but that would require making an entire new bust.
I'm also entertaining the notion of just taking the cast I've got here, giving it an all over sanding with about 220 grit sand paper to make millions of micro scratches over the entire exposed surface and then SOAKING it in silicone fluid. Even after a thorough wiping off, the fluid would still be in all those micro scratches, and would WELD his silicone to the piece, costing him hundreds in silicone and the initial purchase...
Can anyone think of anything else good? :love
