Scumbag Takes Credit for MCL34N's Spidey Suit...Let's Stop Him!

I don't get how he's still a member here, I figured he would have been banned 2 pages back. I mean do we need any more proof? Minus a confession I think everything's done here.

I'll let you guys deal with this matter further as its your subculture that I've crashed into (a little bull in a china shop fashion I'll admit, but I work in an industry where some times you have to throw a few elbows, so maybe I approach everything this way) but ive seen similar threads as I looked into this guy, where people just banned him and figured it would be that...this guy is clearly a predetor and you guys offer such a awesome community to be a part of. You guys are supportive, positive, and inclusive and this guy Graham uses this against you time and time again. I'll let you decide how you wish to deal with him, but he won't stop (in fact I got messages saying he was still running this con even as this thread was going on) until you shame him into stopping or get police involved. You all have amazing work (I'm parcial to Mclean's work obviously but as i researched this guy i got to see a lot of fantastic work) and some of you I have no clue why this isn't your full time job. You should defend it with a flame thrower in my opinion (but I'll stick to defending my own art and let you decide what to do with yours), and it makes me sad to see that every time this guy just ends up with a slap on the wrist (a forum ban) and then he's off to do this again and again...I hope you guys stand up for your amazing work, but after some thought I admit it's not my right to decide how far you guys want to push this, and I was wrong to fully enter into a fight uninvited, but there is so much talent and goodwill being exploited my rage might have blinded me a bit (but again it is easy to track this guy down and learn about his past simply using google)... If you want another body I'll be here help, but I'll let you true artists in this field police your own (i come from a film,theatre,opera world where I guess we can be a bit aggressive)....please destroy this guy as from my vantage point he is a cancer on your awesome and inclucive community.

Really hope this gets sorted, so unfair that he is claiming off your work AND making money!! grrrrr

leave him in the lurch, do NOT make his costume for him and spread the word about your work- Think we all need "APPROVED BY THE RPF" badges :p

I won't turn up on his doorstep or anything, but I'll damn well make sure he's disqualified from any cosplay contests I'm involved with up here in future. AFTER he's stupid enough to get on stage. ;)

Anyone got a good pic of his face so I know what he looks like maskless?
 
The proper meaning of Jihad is indeed "struggle", but not in the "Blow stuff up and kill people" way... It correctly refers to the struggle to live one's own life morally, and try to spread that attitude to others.

Thanks to the incredible administrative staff here for being their normal, awesomely responsive selves.

Now hopefully, we can spread the word far and wide that this suit is MCL34N's so he can regain any credit he lost.

So, if you have a facebook, twitter, or website...get the word out so everyone knows MCL34N is the one who spent months of his life getting this "just right."

Let's also keep an eye on this guy's accounts though to make sure he's not scamming anyone. We need to make sure that people don't get screwed over...especially if other people's pictures are associated with it, it could harm them too.

He and I have a lot of contacts in common and I have told them all to keep an eye out for anything. So, hopefully, we'll catch him before he can do any more harm.
 
Everyone should get the same photos he has been using, and just blast those out into every social media outlet they can with words of praise for the real creator. Just say nothing negative about the theif ,just show the suit off, and let everyone know who made it and how awesome it is. Then when he tries to use the photos and claim he made it, more people will question him as they already saw that suit elsewhere.
