This is the latest image tweeted by Webb. Anyone else reminded of mysterio's Holo-cubes? The caption is "cubism"...hmmmm I wonder if they'd really be setting up all of these villains in one movie.

Also thought about mysterios cubes, that would be soooo awesome !!!
But not every villain comes from oscorp...that would be ....strange...no ?

Is there no muscle shading on the red??

The white (non honey comb) seems to be not attached to the lense?

Other pictures dont show the red bleeding into the lenses..unless thats an error

hey guys is it just me or dose it look like the webbing is stitched on.

(just under nose for best veiw)

i was just about to post the same thing :)
but what material could be sewn down that looks like that it has almost a leather look :/ i know its not leather lol but cant think for the life of me what material it could be

ok but it really dose look like the thread gose through the web.

but if we assume that it did it could be something like those black foam-rubber non-slip mat things

it's not sewed on. Some of the web lines are placed over the seams so they are not seen.

This! This. A thousand times, THIS!

Stitching like this was seen on the ASM1 suit as well. In fact, it's how MCL34N worked out how to pattern his suit as accurately as he did.

The reason why these stitches weren't visible on the Raimi suits is simply that the webbing was wider.

This webbing is either a poured rubber or some sort of appliance as it was in the Raimi film. Let's not complicate matters by trying to sew it on since that is most certainly NOT how this was accomplished.

*NOTE* I'm very slow at typing on my phone.

It's not stitched on, that picture's just so high-res that you can see the seam underneath that the webbing is supposed to hide. That's one of the reasons the webs were so thick and wide on the Raimi suits: so they could completely hide the seams where the suit is stitched together.

If you look, you can clearly see the armpit to neck seam that's so common in the construction of a standard spidersuit, but there are no stitches visible on the chest, where the lycra is seamless. All that's present around the spider is a bit of flashing from the mold.

*EDIT* It's all already been said as I was typing.
