Scottjua's stuff: HELP NEEDED... all Meta accounts GONE

Sorry to hear this dude. Happened to me a few years ago on Instagram. My original page gone over night and close to 10k followers simply vanished. Next was my Etsy store and over 150 5 star reviews. All that time and all that work simply gone without explanation. I as well had open interest that I could never follow up on. Extremely frustrating and exhausting. Apparently fictional blasters are indeed dangerous weapons.

Highly doubt you will get anything but more frustration trying to get an answer from Meta (I never got anything but a copy and paste replay) but honestly I do wish ya the best.

Ur work is solid and people will always find ya.
Thanks man . Yeah it's insane how there's zero accountability on their end. You're just a number. Insane how they do this when people's lives are invested.

I expect nothing to come of it. I'm just going to have to move forward.

Do you remember, there was a little window where Facebook wanted to charge users $1 to message someone who was not already connected to them (friends)... It ultimately flopped as I recall because of the backlash, but that little toe in the water was a huge eye-opener for me. Facebook and its ilk has absolutely nothing to do with expanding our circles for our benefit, spreading goodwill, or a 100 other excuses. It's just a money printing machine, and the only reason they don't pull more **** like this is because they can't function without the end users. I would have dumped Facebook years ago if it wasn't for my work page, but their Meta business suite might finally be the straw that breaks the camel's back for me. I'll lose some of my customer outreach, but I don't think I care anymore if it means they will have a stranglehold over (and control over some aspects of) my business.

There’s a business opportunity in here for an app that actually does the things you list as excuses. Small subscription for content creators/businesses. Free for “customers” to interact. Basically, a small-scale CRM system. A cross between Etsy and Facebook without the stupidity.
