WH13 sort of reminds me of 'Friday the 13th: The series'.

Except the items needing to be recovered in Friday the 13th were from a deal with the devil, and the two main protagonists were the ones who sent them out into the world to begin with (they sold them, not knowing what they were, and only found out about them later).
