How did y’all remove the blade from the blade holder?? Idk if it’s just mine, but it’s really stuck on there and I haven’t been able to wiggle it out. What else should I try???

I don't think it's meant to come off.How did y’all remove the blade from the blade holder?? Idk if it’s just mine, but it’s really stuck on there and I haven’t been able to wiggle it out. What else should I try???
So when we want to carry the hilt and blade separately, we have to change out the blade holder each time???? As well as add the necessary screws to hold it in place??I don't think it's meant to come off.

Not so much swinging it around, but if I take it to Disneyland or out to a con, I usually have the blade off during the day and have the hilt on the clip. Since the retention screws are so small, I wouldn’t want to continuously change the holder is all I’m saying.I don't believe the blade is intended to be removed from the metal sleeve if that is what you're asking. The 6 retention screws would have to be loosened or removed to remove the blade. If you're not going to be swinging it around a ton you could probably just leave the small screws loose and just hand tighten the 2 larger ones. I'd be real careful if doing that though.
Not that I could find. I just looked at the pictures from this thread to figure it out. If you want any specific pictures, let me know and I can PM you.For the sake of idiots like me, is there a video or guide showing how all the greeblies and such are to be attached?
That would be greatly appreciatedNot that I could find. I just looked at the pictures from this thread to figure it out. If you want any specific pictures, let me know and I can PM you.
Make sure to check the manual for whatever board you're installing to see what they recommend. 28 is a fine substitute for 30. It will carry more power, so underpowering wouldn't be a worry. The biggest downside is that 28 is slightly thicker, so cable management may be more of a concern.Hey, I'm relatively new to saber installs and I'm trying to do this myself. My question for now is what gauge of wire needs to be used where. Does any only have references as to how I can find this out. Also in the instructions from goth-3d it mentions to use small wires (30awg) for wiring the switch pub. Most places I find only have put to 28awg in stock, would that be find?

first post of the threadThat would be greatly appreciated
not removed from the sleeve, no need to. The blade sleeve should stay on the blade. They were sanded to fitWait so the blade isn't suppose to be removeable? I'm lost here
Saberbay So I have rewatched the assembly video a dozen times, and looked at the pictures as well, but I am still at a loss for several of the greebles. Would it be possible just to get something a little more detailed as to where they go, that way I am not ruining parts to fit somewhere they shouldnt. Also, how would I go about getting a replacement greebly? So I started playing with my kit and I have a couple of questions. Is there a diagram on what greebles go where because I was able to figure out the majority of looking at the various videos, but there’s a couple of set screws and a couple of greebles that I have no clue where they go. Then one of the Grimleys, for the hilt guard broke. How would I go about getting a replacement?
I’d also appreciate a more detailed guide for the greeblies.Saberbay So I have rewatched the assembly video a dozen times, and looked at the pictures as well, but I am still at a loss for several of the greebles.
