Limited Run SaberBay DARKSABER season 3 finish now available (limited quantities) saberbay.com

Saberbay So I have rewatched the assembly video a dozen times, and looked at the pictures as well, but I am still at a loss for several of the greebles. Would it be possible just to get something a little more detailed as to where they go, that way I am not ruining parts to fit somewhere they shouldnt. Also, how would I go about getting a replacement greebly?
I’d also appreciate a more detailed guide for the greeblies.
I’ll make a picture guide by end of the weekend

Another take on the grips. Will cover with semi-gloss clear next.

I haven’t wired a blade in a bit. So kind of a dumb question, is it from left to right. Negative, data and positive? Or data, negative and positive? I feel like the last time I did this the data was in the middle, but the writing says negative, thanks for the help!

Thank you! Going to let it cure another 24 hours then do a semi-gloss clear coat. It’s Rustoleum 2X Satin Charcoal Gray.
Potentially dumb question so I apologize in advance: did you tape/mask the recessed portions and spray the raised portion? Thanks and again it looks incredible

I masked the raised portions so I could use aluminum black on the grip walls, which had inconsistent anodizing.

After removing that tape, I masked the black anodized areas and the grip walls leaving just the raw surface exposed. I used Tamiya 6mm masking tape which worked great.

Well it’s says negative to the left of the center pad, and to the right of the center pad says positive
The middle is data

Anyone willing to share their proffie config file? I can't figure out how to program this and therefore can't seem to get all the lights to work. Saber only lights up about 3/4 of the way on the default code generated from proffie's configurator.

I know what your problem is but it's been so long since I have done a config I can't remember the line that you need to change. The problem is you need to change the number of maxledperstrip line on your config. If you can take apart your blade count or ask on here how many LED's are on the strip that I believe will fix your problem. It will be towards the top of your config Note: all you have to do when you find out how many leds you have is just change that number I circled in the screenshot on your config. This screenshot is just a standard config i pulled off one of my sabers so the number here won't work with yours. So you know

Ya that wasn't it. There are 111 LED's on the blade, plus the pixel in the chamber for 112. I've changed that number from 112 +/- 20 and still no luck. However, I think it turns out that I've got a short somewhere in the system because if I touch the top of the proffie board in a certain spot, the saber will light up almost all the way to the end. Will only happen if I touch the proffie board tho. I've now resoldered this thing four times. This is quickly turning in to a "hang on the wall and admire from a distance" project lol.

EDIT: Although the board is still acting funny when I touch it, in the configurator on the proffie site, I ticked "RGBW" under Blade options and that seems to have solved my problem. Not sure if it's the *actual* solution, but there ya go.

Can you post your config or send via PM?
