Woah…I think that’s it…

The stand is correct and the size is correct.

Also, the decals are a match to the surviving 11-footer decals.

Didn’t this model go “missing” after Roddenberry lent it out to a licensee? If so, someone should probably contact Rod Roddenberry and let him know about the sale.

It looks like it has been stored somewhere in which water has damaged the model and the stand.

Does the wood grain match on the base was my first thought. One would have a real hard time faking that.

Hard to tell if the unique “flat bottom” of the underside of the saucer is there…

…but I’m pretty confident that’s indeed the long-missing model.

They either realized this was more than they thought, or realized it was possibly stolen long ago, or someone just got a huge bargain with offering a bunch of money right away.

A member in that group is in contact with the seller. Also they are letting Rod Roddenberry and Mike Okuda know. Things are going down fast. Not sure they could complete a stolen property sale with something worth potentially a small fortune. Not sure I would want to "win" it and have to give it up. Maybe it came from an estate sale or something. God how could someone let it get damaged???
