You don’t dilute aluminum black you just leave it on for less time. The longer the contact the darker it gets.Possibly also a 50% diluted aluminum black treatment since the video sample looks great but maybe a bit dark, as people have mentioned.

im familiar with birchwood aluma black which you can dilute with water. Birchwood Casey aluminum black, according to a quick Google search can be diluted with water also to lessen the effect. I’d prefer this method rather than full strength, less time. You don’t dilute aluminum black you just leave it on for less time. The longer the contact the darker it gets.

the decals will not be placed on, so you can choose to purchase a different decal directly from TheSaberTrade to use insteadWill there be a plain black decal option without the lightning/crackling effect?
I am also familiar with Birchwood aluminum Black. You are correct you can dilute it. However you fail to realize that it's also not a permenant solution. It wears off over a small period of time.N9

We are working on the diluted aluminum black ratios and will report our findings and an option for the service to darken the grips if desired.Man, these look incredible. I’d be on board with paying a little extra for the blacked-out detailing, for what that’s worth.
