waiting for blades, waiting for chambers, and I ordered some longer magnets to make it easier to install into the chassis. ones that factory packed worked but they were a little loose.
Also had to spend 380$ on better 6-32 screws because the once the factory sent were terrible. some had no threads, some the allen key just spun around in ....

I’ve ordered the blade but is it possible to send the hilt out before the blade arrives , how long are we waiting for the blades?
Some blades coming in this week
They need sanding on the stem to fit the coupler well
They are sand to fit by design so they are snug
Fulfillment will be in order to when reserve were sent
Oldest to newest.
Rather not do it i batches as it can be messy.
But if you want it now and are not wait for a chamber and want to pay for shipping for the blade later then we can arrange

Just to confirm - if we did the preorder for the crystal chamber those are the 2 optional Shapeway links on your parts list right?
Yes the pre ordered crystal chambers come with both the printed crystal and the metal chambers insert
Shapeways is shipping them to me now BTW

I would also like darkened grips. My goal is to have a screen accurate (or at least as close to screen accurate as possible) Dark Saber hilt with electronics installed.

I’m waiting for all of it to be shipped at once, so if possible in the meantime the grips can be darkened great.

I definitely wasn't upset with how the unmodified version looked as it was definitely nice, but this this looks amazing. When watching this video I said outloud to myself "Oh wow that looks PERFECT." I'll definitely be trying this out especially if you can recommend a good dilution.
I'm thrilled to see these hitting stateside and hope the rest of the run goes smoothly for everyone involved. Thanks for keeping us updated throughout the process.

We are waiting for replacement screws to replace the ones that came with the kits
Bagging hundreds of sets screws and placing them in each box is taking some time
As we do this we are doing Qc as well
List of things waiting for a actions needed
1)Appropriate temperature to finish aluminum black grip darkening technique
Once we mail this down we can price the service and offer to add to invoice or to send a separate invoice for those who want it done
2)higher quality replacement screws to arrive to bag and place in each kit
3)chambers to arrive (they shipped already from shapeways ) when they arrive the printed crystal is one large print so we will need to separate each one from the large block(like imagine model parts snap off trays)
4)blades to finish up from TheSaberTrade and each blade will need to be sanded at the stem to be a snug sand to fit stem, we are doing this so you will not have to.
Some blades are on their way so we can start this process
Once these items are wrapping up we will send reminders for those who owe a balance
If you don’t want the grip coloring service and only ordered a hilt with no chamber or blade and would like yours shipped as soon as we get the screws packed email us with the request to ship now

To avoid a book keeping and fulfillment nightmare if you are waiting on those other items we would rather not ship your hilt separately as the time amending and changing the fulfillment spread sheet would greatly increase the fulfillment time for everyone

I have a sample just waiting to be applied to my three different Darksabers.
Thought I would give you all an unfortunate update
Two 60-50 foot trees across the street were cracked and leaning against each other due to the crazy weather event we are having here in the north west and I was in fear of them
Crushing the darksabers in the detached garage/workshop
So the pallet I was going thru had to be rushed from the work shop in the garage where I was doing the QC to the inside
Of the house.
An hour later that Our street got closed off and the crew from the utility company asked us to leave the house because the tree holding up the larger tree was uprooting and the wind conditions were making it so they couldn’t not currently do anything about it
So we packed up the pets ( and our house guest) and we checked into a nearby hotel.
Before leaving I again moved all the darksabers to the basement which is safe from tree fall as it’s next to foundation.
Also turned the house power off(eliminating risk of fire) and turned the main water line off as well
Just thought you all should know because it definitely means I am not getting any work done this weekend ….
Was hoping to work thru the holiday
Now can’t even sleep in my own bed
