RPFers going to DragonCon, shout out!

I'm already here.. just waitin' on all of you folks to show up! :cool

jk..:) but I'm only a short drive away.. I'll be around the 'Netherworld' booth.
I think you 'con-virgins' will love it! Bring costumes if ya have them!

Likewise! Can't wait to pose for photos, lol!

Hope you to see you there, CB2001! Are you costuming or going to be wearing a RPF shirt?

Also, is Volpin suppose to be heading over as well?

I'm afraid I don't have an RPF shirt, and I am too heavyset to be any kind of character (nor do I have any costumes made). So, the answer is no on both those topics. But, I'm considering on wearing my homemade "Death Shroom" T-shirt, make a custom RPF T-shirt or at least come up with an RPF sticker that I'd wear for all three days of the convention that my dad and I will be going to.

How about someone with some skills creating an RPF JPEG badge that everyone can take to Target or Walmart photo section and just print in seconds. That way, RPF'ers are easily identifiably.

I'll be there! At least for one day I'll wear my Prof. Snape outfit, not sure about the other days. I'm 6'-5" so I usually stand out and I'd like to meet other RPF folks!

See you there!

I had planned on doing something like that with my design, basically having the RPF Logo, the website address (as a means of advertising to get more users who haven't heard of it) and a space where you write in your User Name. If you happen to have a laminator, you can basically create a badge that you can use at any convention.

Evil Benius and I will be there. Most of my costumes this year are Harry Potter related but I'm also bringing Marty McFly and Elphaba from Wicked.

Here's my first prototype of the ID badge. I went with what is meant to be a keycard size (going from the size described on a website), but I've shrunk it down a bit so that it wasn't taking up the whole page. This is just a first prototype, as I don't know how people will like it. But I do use the RPF logos from the forums, so I apologize to the mods of the RPF if this is at all insulting. I know this design isn't great, but I feel that if the first one isn't good, I've still got plenty of time to rework it.

Here is my badge workup.. Simple and sweet.. Copy the file to a thumb drive, take it to Target or Wallymart, and instant print it in the photo area. Sharpie your forum username on the line. All done.

Damn, dude! That's better than my design! I say we go with this one instead of mine. :D

You should make yourself a DeathShroom mascot costume then! ;) That would be easy to spot..

As much as that's good... What would it be?

This?

Seriously, I doubt think I could make a costume that could live up to those images. :p

One of our other group members has just expressed an interest in in costuming with us. I'm trying to sell him on Pitch from "Santa Claus." If he finds a good Santa suit, that would work for multiple reasons.

Will be there in my Venom. This will be my 4th Dragon Con and I always love it. Cant wait! And I love that badge idea. Nice work putting that together. Simple yet recognizable.
