ROTJ CUT SCENE on Star Wars Blu-Ray for next year....

No, it's because I am so familiar with the films, that any added anything is simply jarring to me. But I have my original versions which is what I watch.

I won't be buying the Blu-Ray unless they do the originals.

I like it.

I like it better than "well here I am" out of no where.

We new han and chewie were going to help rescue han but the whole thing of Luke sitting in a cave looking like he is about to snap as Vader tries to influence him...

IDK

This had a serious impact on me today.

I love the Fixer scene in ANH and want to see it in there as well.

But this... IDK I really feel this SHOULD be Lukes first inro as a Jedi.

I freaking love it.

Sorry.

I'm sorry you're soured to the trilogy by whatever personal hang-ups you have.

IN STORY, Luke is not yet a Jedi.

Luke: "Then, I am a Jedi"

Yoda: "Not yet"

Have you watched the movie, or do you just ***** about it?

LOL!

Well I guess I personally meant/shoulda said... our first look at him "in" Jedi. Not "as" a Jedi!

But as you are saying...

Luke THOUGHT he was a Jedi when he went to save Han... so from a "certain point of view" he WAS a Jedi! :lol

And I don't ***** about the OT. Just the SE and PT! :p

But at this point seeing as we won't ever get BR theatrical release OT.

I would almost rather them try and re-SE all 6. Which is what I've always thought they would do anyway.

When Lucas did the original SE he was completely out of touch with what the fans wanted. I think the fact that he has been seen wearing a "Han shot first" Tshirt shows that he or at least his advisors somewhat get it...

I really think that if they "fix" the movies again they will be better than the SE and a LOT of the original SE shots will be taken out or fixed.

At least I have some "new hope" for the OT BR's.

Maybe in the end my childhood will be raped? LOL!

Exactly, Luke is not a Jedi until he throws down his saber and defiles the Emperors orders and taunts him AFTER putting down old dad. .

ROTJ is still a POS no matter how you look at it. Without Lucas's "NO" crew in place it's Teddy Ruxpin to the rescue... = Ewok garbage... Hello prequels... (n)thumbsdown

I think you're out of touch.

You really think he "tinkered" with them for the fans?

No, I don't.

But I think that he now knows that his "tinkering" for his own wants really turned a LOT of his hard core fans off. I think that ep3 was as dark as it was cause he got soo much flak for 1 and 2.

And I think he will now try to make it more what the fans want to make more money. And will then sit back and say it is what he always invisioned! LOL! :angel

Completely disagree. ROTJ will always be my favorite. Perhaps we have a big age difference as I was about 6 years old when I saw it in theaters back in '83.

I would argue to leave Lapti Nek back in the film at least without the CG Sy Snootles at Yuzzem.

The fans have little to nothing to do with what has or hasn't happened during the production of any of the film.

Show me just one instance. That you even have a smattering of real evidence of some kind of vague effect.

The biggest noise the fans have ever made is wanting the originals back. If that doesn't do anything, nothing will.

exellent video , awesome .

hope it will be included in future ROTJ edition dvd .

Me too.

Now get in the trench with me cause we are about to get destroyed by the uber purists for not hating the idea. :rolleyes

For the record I would love to have a perfect 1080p theatrical version on BR. I'm just facing the facts that it isn't going to happen! :lol

Little to no Jar Jar in ep 2. Even less in Ep3.

ep3 was darker than it needed to be at times. And we all know that Lucas had Peter Jackson and Spielburg on set for their input. We all know that ep1 and 2 it was his way or the highway. The fans booed and I think he STARTED to listen.

I really didn't mean that he had done anything yet. I just have a feeling that all of you won't hate the new versions as bad as you did the SE.

I'm trying to be hopeful!

But don't worry Mike... I still know that life sux, isn't fair, and I will never truly be happy! You helped me to see that!!! :p

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!:angel

Exactly. Once the novelty of the SE's wore off...I wanted my old SW back. I wish we had better non-SE DVDs available.

I still say the ultimate Blu-Ray experience is to offer a customizable version, so I could program the chapters to play the original Lapti Nek, but retain the SE finale. Or in SW I can have Han shooting first and still have CG Dewbacks. You just open up twin chapter menus, one column for the 83 version of ROTJ, for example, one for the 97, and select which version you want which chapter from. Certainly that's attainable, technologically? Or am I dreaming? I know nothing about Blu-ray.

No, you spewed out typical rhetoric that has no basis in fact.

Do you actually believe there were any plans beyond Ep1 for Jar Jar? Is there an early script that was trashed?

Why wouldn't Ep3 be darker? The **** is about the hit the fan.

Your blatherings about the fans influence are meaningless.
