Now that I understand what you are saying ( you will have to forgive me sometimes I'm a bit slow). Yes I am. I already added t to my web site.

Oh yeah. That hat is looking good now. And a fraction of the cost of the TH version. Honestly I don't see why anyone would want to spend the xtra $500.00 or so on the TH version unless you just really have to have the brand name. The quality of work is probably the same, if not better from Penman. I say probably because I've never held either product, but I have held a $700.00 Baron hat next to a $250.00 dollar Tim Bender hat, and the Baron weeps in the presence of it.

Just my two bits on how price doesn't always reflect quality. Sometimes just self-importance.

Thanks for the kind words.In the defense of my own hats. I'm using the same felt and ribbon as the maker ( there really not that many). I don't know how the real makers make their hats but mine are all custom sized and all made by my hand no machine.

I would put the quality of John Penman's work up against most any Hatter around.

It's hard for me to get the right angle because of the person taking the pic. Anyone I get to take one don't care about getting the same angle as me or you.

Yes it is. It's a one piece spandex It's not very easy to see out of and you can see some features when you get up close.

I think it's worth what you are paying for it. If I went out and bought everything needed to make one myself. That and the fact you wouldn't nail it the first time out. It would cost you about the same I'm guessing. Factor in all the time and I think it's worth it. I don't think if I made it myself it would be any better when it came to seeing out of it. Because it's a one piece is why you can see some features. I think at night or going to a costume party you wouldn't make them out. I got it to show off the hat better.

I'm still very interested in the mask that moves.

Black would take out some of that white contrast, making it look more movie-esque.

I not sure, I would assume so but I would also assume it would make it harder to see. Take a look at my photo again. You can make out some of my nose. Thats the level I'm talking about.
