Rollerball 1975 Motorbike

So one of my favourite films is the old James Caan film Rollerball. I have been working in 3d since polygons first got texture mapped. Recently i decided to remake a few things from the film

Here are WIP images of the Honda CB125 bike conversion i did this week. I started with a blueprint of the 1972 CB125 (i think, at least that what it was labeled). Then i went through stills from the film to produce all the additional structure the prop department did back in 1974.

Been busy adding details & fixing a few things. I’ve also lit the bike with an hdri of the stadium I made (more on that later) & added a nice wooden floor…

Glad you like it boys. the film is one of my favourites. I still find the action sequences are great!

A few more material tweaks and I have rigged it for animation. The only part I still haven’t fitted is the engine guard…

So I got a resin printer & have been animating my rider into a few different poses..

Resin produce such a better finish on smaller models, the difference is epic. Not only that but you can print 10 figures at the same speed you can print 1?! Its a total game changer..

Howdy, I love the work you did on this model. Are you sharing/selling this model? I am looking for miniatures for a Rollerball tabletop game and I stumbled on this thread. I am specifically looking for 1:64 scale. Thanks!
