Yes, I can do that, on request. The reason I didn't include that on the prototype, is that I could not find any evidence on any screen-capped material I have that that detail exists on the screen used prop. I will cut some discs based on the toy version and post pics to this thread.

Thanks for the update on the accuracy mods to the kit, I just have a two questions;

1: Will the new patterns on the 2x front disks be etched or painted/printed to the reflective acrylic sheet?

2: Do you have a set of Red/Green wires on one or both sides?

1. The engrave doesn't really work on the fully reflective sheet, since it mirrors the lines to make them look like multiples. I sanded the sheets down which makes gives them a brushed aluminium effect, then engraved and oversprayed with black. The lines can be made heavier, but I'm temporarily out of reflective sheet.

2. The wires do not seem to be present on the left hand side.

I hope this helps, in reviewing the very few on-screen shots I think you are correct, with many of the available images from scenes that did not make the final cut of the movie, I think this image (credit to the original poster in the research thread) gives the best details of the side detail and wires, it shows a smaller indent area near the handle and a larger indent section with smaller raised sections below containing the wires & what appears maybe a partial clear insert?



This image (credit to the original poster in the research thread) which was taken from a behind the scenes TV program would indicate wires were on both sides if this prop was ever used in the movie.

Hi Ian, thanks for that image, I hadn't seen that. I will certainly endeavour to incorporate the clear section. I want to make as many improvements to accuracy as possible, and make a really nice piece. However, given the luke-warm response here it seems that a cheaper option is sought by the guys who previously specified an interest, so right now so I am unsure how to progress with this project.

That would be a shame if the run does not go ahead, I for one appreciate all your efforts especially tweaking the little accuracy details, I hope some of the others commit after seeing where you are taking your final kit, this is an awesome kit for a very reasonable price and you are offering a completed build for those of us who don't have the skills & tools.
