...What the heck happened Halliwax??!! ... You were so geared in for tickets before.:confused... i didnt even pre order tickets. blaaaah ill see it when i see it... negative mood rant over :darnkids
Were all theaters only letting you preorder opening day? We have a Cinemark theater and that's all they would let you preorder. I was hoping to get seats for the following Mon. to avoid the rush. BTW, for anyone with Cinemark theaters, has anyone tried their XD theater (bigger floor to ceiling screen)? I just wonder if it's worth the extra money.
Too bad for tgem the movie's PG13. ;-)it's so funny.....at work there's daycare kids that are 3 to 5 year old and they know the characters already! [emoji38]
XD is their premium format and should be equivalent to RPX, IMAX etc. I haven't been to one but I will be for R1, since it's the only premium sound theater close to me that will be in 2D. I'm so sick of having 3D rammed down my throat, it's getting harder to find high end 2D. I hate 3D, it looks like a pop up book.
I had the same thing last year too. Disney needs to get these releases back to summer time, where they belong.
Its summer where I am.

Everybody knows the southern hemisphere doesn't count

I once made myself a pair of "2D glasses" for "Real D". It does not work.Pay for the 3D screening, keep one eye closed while seeing it, VOILA! it's 2D![]()
Nothing special compared to the rest of Europe. No buildings of significance, no spectacular nature. (And the women are not all tall sultry blondes...) Many American tourists that come here expect to be able to see some wildlife but leave disappointed. If I have never seen a wild wolf in my life (of which there are only about a dozen in the entire country), then how would they?Actually Sweden is on my bucket list to visit one day. Once you watch a 3D movie that way, crosstalk between left and right eyes inherent in the projection system become more apparent as your eyes no longer try to focus on the intended depths. With 3D glasses, the crosstalk is therefore perceived a little bit like a blur - but in 2D the superimposed image can be seen for what it is.
I lament the demise of high-end 2D. Otherwise, the price of a screening in Sweden has surpassed the price of a DVD and you would have to bring your own glasses to a Real-D screening. IMAX 3D (the only 3D with reasonable image quality) is only available in one spot in the entire country and costs more than a BluRay.
The only way that the theatre chain could provide me with an experience I would be willing to pay for would have been if they had made an event out of it, like they did with the midnight premieres of Episodes 1, 2 and 3. There is a tiny chance of me getting a screening for a last-minute troop with the 501st, but I'm not counting on it.
I'd rather wait for the BluRay.

Our neighbour Norway has Hoth (Finse) and fjords surrounded by steep mountains that are quite spectacular. It is very very expensive, but worth it.
Han encountered bounty hunter Skorr on Ord Mantell - according to a Star Wars comic strip (here). Another reason to not include flashbacks in the saga films - is so that thye have content to fill their expanded universe.Shadows of the Empire.
Dash fights IG-88 at the end of that mission on Ord Mantell, I assumed that was who Han ran into as well.
