Robocop Reboot (Pre-release)

Ok, I looked at the trailer again.

1.) Robocop 1.0 - Silver

2.) Robocop 2.0 - Black

3.) Robocop Silver (Fat suit!?)
It looks like the Robocop Silver Suit below is either the 1.0 suit with Different Visor and attachments or maybe a 1.5 or possibly the final silver version after he disposes of the black one? It could possibly be he ends up with a silver suit at the end.

The chinguard is not all black like the in the pictures above, it seems bigger and the visor is obviously different and the whole suit seems fatter somewhat?

Seriously, there's nothing wrong with that silver suit. I would have been perfectly happy with that one.

As for the big visor in the last pic, I imagine that's what it actually looks like, to allow the actor to see out. The slit is a LOT smaller than the one Peter Weller wore, and I can't imagine the actor could see much out of a suit like that. That's probably one reason for the retractable hood. Aside from face time, it saves them a lot of money in VFX re-applying the "thin" visor to him.

Could just be a goof or something that made it into the trailer but will never be seen in the film. Wouldn't be the first time this has happened.

Definitely 3 different suits or at least 2.5. Makes me want to see it just to see what order they're actually shown in and why the changes.

Padded stunt suit. Just a guess though.

That's a definite possibility since the pattern of the armor looks pretty much the same as suit 1.0, just fatter. However, I didn't do a side by side so I can't say with 100% certainty that they're supposed to be the same suit but they do look an awful lot a like.

I would hope they would end up with a final silver suit at the end, because the black one just doesn't stand out for me.

At least with the silver one, it has more of the Robocop look we are used to, despite it being different than the original 1987 version.

I've kind of warmed to this silver suit now, but do wish they had been able to go for more carnage and violence like the original.

The one liners in the original are priceless.

The lack of a violent cold blooded villian like Clarence Boddicker and his gang is also something which is likely to be dissapointing.

I just don't get an evil vibe from Michael Keaton from the trailers, maybe the movie might prove me wrong, let's wait and see.

I think your right, that would explain the visor too. Wider range of visibility for action scenes and whatnot.

Here is a high res version: (open image in new tab to go even larger)

These day CEOs seem to be scarier to hollywood than cold blooded killers lol.

4th trailer and the best so far. I have to say, I have my doubts, but this trailer is the first to really let me think that this movie might *might be alright after all!
