Robocop Reboot (Pre-release)

This movie will be aimed at the current generation of tweens. It'll be a love story with brooding teens that are actually actors in their mid twenties getting into trouble and RubberCop will show up and set them right.

Don't forget that all the bag guys on the streets will be sexy emo vampires. "Dead or... uh... alive, you're coming with me."

With it being PG 13 (i'm guessing) Robo'll have so many prime directives he'll be ineffective and dull like in the middle of Robocop 2.

Who said it was PG-13? Last thing I read the director and main actor wanted an R rating.

The studios seem to prefer Pg 13 and i have no doubt they'd force it to be edited down to that for release.

So what I hear you saying is the outdoors scenes we'll see sparkles?

I'm afraid to ask what Lewis looks like in this, probably some super pretty girl who never held a gun before and runs around half naked like a stripper.

Well there is no Anne Lewis, it's Jack Lewis played by Michael K. Williams.

If this guy isn't in it, the remake failed:

'It's a free society! 'Cept there ain't nothin free cuz there's no guarantees you know?? ; you're on your own!

....Lotta jungle, HOO HOOOOOO , heh heh heh.'
I need to watch this again. I always thought that last line was: "Law of the jungle".

I love how many people have their knickers in a knot over this robocop costume.

Crying out their childhood is ruined lmao, your childhood isn't ruined you can still buy the original and you don't have to watch the remake.

******! One photo of a suit that's probably going to get 20mins of screantime if that, or it's a stuntsuit, or it's yet to be CGI augmented.

Grow up

I haven't read anyone saying that. :confused

MY CHILDHOOD IS RUINED. There.

RUINED, I tell you. :darnkids

I'm disappointed with all the remakes, I guess Hollywood has run out of ideas. It was explained to me that most of the younger generations (I said most not all) will not watch old movies and watching a black and whits is just out of the question. I guess it's getting harder and harder to some up with new ideas.

There are a TON of amazing Sci-Fi and Fantasy books that could be made in to movies. How about doing that Hollywood but put some time and talent in to the script to not f#$k up another good story.

I'm going to have an absolute $hlt fit is and when they remake the Dirty Harry movies.

I am just waiting for the major insult to original classic cinema. Like hearing a remake being done of Gone With The Wind, or Casa Blanca. I would expect some apocolyptic stuff to go down after that news.

I'm sure it's just a matter of time.

The worst part of it all is that we're apparently the vocal minority. You hear a lot about how unoriginal Hollywood is, and how it's all just boring remakes. But they're making money hand over fist from all the other people that don't know any better. They'll only stop when people stop going to the theater to watch them.

I was somewhat hopeful when I heard that Total Recall didn't do very well (I didn't even waste my time bootlegging it), but so far it doesn't look like they're slowing down at all.

Problem is even if the movies don't do well they keep doing remakes. There has to be some economic reason for it, it's like the 50s when studios would pump out tons of B movies that didn't do well but made them cash anyhow.
