Robocop Reboot (Pre-release)

It's cool... I 'm not sold on the angry visor though. I like the straight line because it makes him seem like he's got no emotion/expression until it's lifted/removed/

I like the detail of the jaw/chin piece.

I agree on the visor but it's still a hell of an improvement over what we've seen so far from the movie suit. It for sure doesn't look like an iron man ripoff or a guy in a normal suit.

The more I look at it now...
Looks a little too skeletal when there's a background to it. The belly actually looks like a spine... The position of the right arm is weird... like it comes out too far from the body.

Still looks cool though and better than the all black, rubber-looking version.

You can't polish a turd - well you can, but at the end of the day it's still just a turd. A Cylon-turd in this case.
The belly spine has been pointed out more than a few times now. Don't know what the designers were thinking(with any of it) :facepalm

The same thing all grads of modern design school classes thing: generic works and stick with what's familiar because people are sheep and will go along with it. It's why you get generic looking cars, videogames, movies, music and medical care. As long as they get paid they don't care if it looks good or not.

There are indeed way too many sheep on this blue marble, but they are not getting paid with my money :D

Humanity's fallen into a pattern of mediocre being okay and media seems to be the best place to see it. It's sad that the action figure for the movie is better than the real suit.

Well the quality and detail of action figures has definitely gone the opposite direction. Compare figures from our childhood (1970's) to the detail and accuracy of today's action figures. Of course I'm including the high-end collectors ones that are prices way out of the WalMart rack range, but still.

Oh if walmart could get playarts and neca figures at a good price they would without a doubt lol. Especially considering a marvel legend and transformer is 15 bucks or more these days. I know toys r us had higher end figures for a while.

I think if you put the original Robocop in the ring against this new one, the original would make short work of him. Also, is there a strong main villain? Boddicker was an excellent bad guy. Is it too late to make this movie Rated-R?
