Done / Completed Rey's Blaster (SW: Force Awakens) - Image of kit added, run open!

Checking to see if you were able to get the barrels sourced out and if so, will you be shipping by end of this week? Thx
Yes indeed! Finished ordering all remaining barrels today. Casting and printing up pieces as we speak, so looks good.

All remaining kits are ready to go. Just waiting on the barrels to arrive. Don't know if there was a hang up because of the holiday.

Received all remaining barrels today. Will be sending out remaining kits next week. Due to the the NUMEROUS problems I have had with this run, I am going to go ahead and close it.

Kits arrived to me for finishing and I'll be working on them over the next 2-3 weeks. A few of thinner printed pieces warped due to the heat en route, so we'll be reprinting those while I'm getting the other parts prepped for painting.

Sorry for the late response, been travelling. Looks like Kevin summed it up nicely.

Potentially obvious question - but what's to say that those parts won't then warp from the heat again when they're on their way out to people?

In kit form they're thin, but once everything is painted and assembled there isn't a need to worry

Quick update on the finished kits. The resin parts are all prepped for paint, and the replacement parts are printed. Just need to prep those and hopefully get the base black on this weekend. If all goes well, finish will go on early next week and be prepped for shipping

Thank you for the update Kevin. I'm ready to put this one to bed, as I'm sure you are too. lol

We're getting there! Everything is in the base black, but we've had some rain and humidity the last few days here so I'm hesitant to spray the aluminum just yet. I'm still hoping to get everything fished up this week.

Good! Aluminum and clear coat are cured and weathering will happen over the next couple of days. Charles will get with me on shipping info and we'll get these out as soon as we can.

I'm using alclad polished aluminum if anyone is curious. Here is an example of a finished blaster (my personal kit from my own files)

And to wrap this up on the kit end, all remaining kits have been shipped. Thanks to everyone who stuck with us on this one and made the run possible.

Quick update. My wife had to go out of town this weekend so I was home alone with the two kids (4 and 18 mos). Needless to say I didn't get to work on these as much as I wanted. I was able to get one fully assembled and ready for weathering, the other two are in various stages of assembly
