Yes I agree... hers are much looser. that's why we've been generally going for the palazzo pants and then gathering them... it gives that "harem" look.

Ditto. I PM'd him 12/31 and no response yet. So I went with JDMNinja's staff. He's been very prompt at responding to everything.

I am currently printing Ian Henry's staff file for my wife. It is really good for those looking for the staff. Lightweight and fits on a 1" dowel rod perfectly.

Wow! I just logged on to Silverman's to check they still had bags in stock and saw the price hike. When I went into the shop the guy spent about 20 minutes out back trying to find the signals satchels. When he came out he said there had been a rush on them and he had sent about 10 to America in the last week. He asked if they had been used in a film and I told him I would tell him after I had purchased the 2 I was buying. He then guessed Star Wars. So, I was kind of expecting a price hike but nothing like 3 times the price!

Looking forward to seeing Kristen's completed bag. I believe my bag has arrived today as my wife tells me I have a parcel from America.

Really?! I'll have to msg him on Facebook and see. I did hear that he was having some family issues a bit ago, but I didn't know he'd left. Hope everything is OK.

I'll hit him up on FB and see if he's still doing staff kits and report back.

I've made a very little progress in my Rey costume (most of my time has been consumed in making my Husband's Kylo) and I've wanted to show a few bits of my progress:

Goggles are coming along, though not finished



the belt is nearly complete... I just need to put in the slots and add the twine accent. You can see who's pattern I've used... LOL


Staff is nearly done... I just want to do a bit of distressing, and then I'll wrap the middle


And since the rest of my fabric for the tunic and wrap dress have shown up, I'll be needing to get busy on sewing those, now that Kylo is complete.

I also need to get back to Dharma and see if the head wrap fabric is back in stock.

it's time to kick my Rey production into high gear!

I spoke to him on FB today and he said that he hasn't been on any of the boards because he has been busy taking care of his Dad, but that he is now filling the last of his orders. He said that he has two staff kits ready to ship on Monday if anybody needs one.

I actually purchased the NN-14 Blaster and just received it today. I need to sand down some of the roughness and then I can prime and paint... and hopefully I can do a decent job weathering it. I'm working on a genderbend version or Rey for Feb =D I'm trying to keep it as screen accurate as possible but still taking some liberties since I'm genderbending =D

Couple questions. Is the size right on it? I Think the body is supposed to be around 3 inches. Does the trigger move or is it fixed?

No pattern needed.
18" wide
Length should be from end up over opposite shoulder and down to loop.
Seam then up and over to the other end.

Length will depend on your ht.

What fabric did you get? Was it the Cotton Hemp Jersey Knit from Dharma? Pics...!
