Quick post aimed more towards other fellow Canadians.
I have looked into in the past importing replica firearms and blasters.
What I found was there are some gray areas.
I was told by the boarder guards that anything that is a replica of any form of a weapon that is in production will not be allowed over the boarder and will be confiscated and 'destroyed'
But what about something like Han's blaster which was modeled after the WW2 German Mauser.
Or even something like Boba's blaster rifle. Now that is made of a flair gun but looks menacing and dangerous.
Now I know some Canadian collectors and members of the 501 through out the Great White North have been lucky enough to get them over the boarder.
Is there any kind of protocol that you followed to get them?
Or is there a Canadian distributor, producer or even at this point I would be willing to entertain a re-caster. *shudder*
Look forward to hearing from you guys on this one.
Cheers.
