Reebok Alien Stompers (Ripley's sneakers from Aliens) re-release

From their Twitter page:

It just emptied my basket and now size 9 is sold out!! I had them in my basket for 20 min!
 
Same for the 9s. Trying for 10s now but doubt I'll have any luck.

Edit: And nope, now that's been pulled from cart as well.
 
Gone and gone and gone. What a joke Reebok! Why even put them on your site when its a big waste of time. I tried for the size 9 and 10's same thig as yall could not check out. tried calling their 866 number on hold for 15 minutes while i kept refreshing my cart....then your cart is empty.
 
Seems strange that they are throwing away easy money with them being *this* limited. I get not making a million pairs, but doing under 500 when demand is so high doesn't make sense business-wise in situations where the 'want' isn't payed off later. Like if it's a new phone or something, demand works since they will eventually have more iPhones available and the wait just made people want it more. But it's not like we are just going to buy other Reeboks instead.
