Rahm Kota is from the Force Unleashed games. And almost in Rogue One.
He was? Where'd you hear that? That would have been kind of cool.
Cobbled together from tidbits in interviews and captions in the art-of/making-of book. Long story short, he ended up being the inspiration for Chirrut, downplayed from full Jedi so he wouldn't overpower the central character (Jyn or Cassian). On the one hand, I would have liked to have seen him in there. On the other, I like Chirrut, and this way we still have a chance to see Rahm somewhere down the road.
