Though I finished or if you call it finished as of April of 2015. You are really never done I guess since I do not have RC foot drives. Castors work better for moving in house , but not for long trips at an Event. I use a Cart.
Since August of 2013 I have been researching and busy on gathering parts and building a Droid. R2 would be a static droid with only the dome moving with a motor and lights and sounds. He would move on castors. So with encouragement of Terry, Chris S., Todd baker. I set off on this project. It would be a wood frame, Styrene skin, Fiberglass dome with resin parts. So here are some pictures of the process. A small summary. I will update as I go.
