"Quartet"- Maggie Smith's walking cane

Hi all! I was hoping someone could help me identify this cane, or a very familiar type. If youll notice the handle shape, and the silver collar is further down the shaft of the cane.

Just an fyi, that's called a "Fritz" handle and it's quite common. The chrome accent ring being that far down on the shaft is another matter--I use a cane on a semi-regular basis, so I've looked at a lot of them, and I can't recall seeing one like that before. It could be a custom-made cane, or simply an all-black off-the-shelf cane that was modified by the prop or wardrobe department or whoever supplied the canes for the production.

I've just checked Fashionable Canes (where I get mine) as I thought I recognized the cane. Sorry to say I was mistaken, but I'll keep looking.

That's where I've gotten my canes as well, and it was the first place I looked. :lol I next did a Google image search, and didn't seen anything remotely like the cane ffg is looking for; lots of black Fritz handled canes, but if they had any form of chrome or other accent pieces they were much closer to the handle.

Hey great minds shop alike That was the problems with my image searches as well, either the collar was too high or the handle wasn't the correct shape. Oh well keep looking, besides on my journey I might find a new cane and treat myself.
