I finally finished up on the EL pads.

Will get some pics in the morning it in daylight. Until then here is a cool video. Click the pic below and it'll take to you a video of the lights. I wired the Blue EL strips and the Red EL pad separatly so that I could independently control both. Next time i'm getting two pads. that way i can just cut them to what ever shape I need.

Yeah man! Worked out great! I only have about and 1/8 of an inch to a 1/4 of a inch to play with. The EL pads are awesome!

Added the trilaser to the bio, I still need a tip to cover the end. I need to check on that actually.

gauntlet light is wired to the wall in this shot. I can disconnect it and attach the battery packs that hide in the gauntlet when I'm on the hunt.

Hot damn, that is one man beasty! This is one of the best 'budget' builds I think I have ever come across. Your a force to reckoned be with and your are an inspiration to all. This also shows the possibilities are endless when making a suit and also shows that you can put practically everything (kitty litter scoops) to good use.

My hat is off to you sir!

Thanks guys!! Like I said this is just my first pred, definitely not my last. Now that I have this one pretty much under my belt, the next one should be even better. He already looks lonely.

I guess I'll start with the bio.. Finally got around to weathering it and installing the lens. I still need to get a trilaser tip for the well.. trilaser. Hopefully I can get one off of Casey here soon.

I still need to install magnets in the mask and Bio. Anyone know a good US vendor for 20mmx4mm disc magnets?

Got this Muskrat skull in the mail. Snagged it off of ebay.

I glued the jaws in it in a way that it looks like it might have some mandibles of its own.

Also I picked up a deer spine from the local meat market/wild game processing place. 1 fairly fairly meaty deer spine = $0 I tied it down out side next so some ant beds. They will do most of the cleaning work for me.

Beads. weathered and bone like.

I need beads badly. I have three in silicone mold I made still curing. If all goes to plan I'll cast some sets out of it and save myself from the PVC dust. Later tonight I'll put up a trade thread in the marketplace. Decals and shirts for your bead extras. That's another thread tho.

Thanks man! The drum sander bit for the dremmel left some nice marks in the PVC. I also randomly gouged at the pieces to make them have some nicks and well .. gouges. The weathering brought all of the tiny details out. I'm very pleased with the results. I'll mold the **** out of them too. I just need to figure out the best way todo so. I might have to PM some people and do some searching here on the lair abit more before i do tho. This should be one hell of a PVC Bead Huntorial.

The skull was a lucky ebay find no doubt! The spine I'm pretty sure anyone can get at a local wild game processing place. I just walked in and asked ol' meat market Don if he had any. He said no. I gave him my number and bam! gotta call 2 days later with a nice fresh one. lol It's going to take some time, love and bleach to clean all of the meat off of the rib cage and spine.

Laser Tips: I'm excited to say I just ordered 4 from Casey(Biohunter76). 1 for this bio and 3 for future ones. Thanks bro!! Can't wait to get them!

Today I decided to just sit down and finished up the dread beads. Question.. at what point should I call this thing done? I still need to install magnets in the bio and mask and the laser tip. Other than that and weathering the belt buckle, I can't think of anything else todo to it. It looks like I'll be suiting up here in the next couple days.

I just got wife approval to make him a hunting companion. yup folks making another Pred after this one.

Yes sir!! I'm soo ready to suit up!! Maybe tomorrow I'll get the time to suit up and make a video. Work has me super busy right now.

Holy Crap! I haven't been on in a while to see Sir Speedy's build. Whoa! Anyway, I got my magnets locally at a woodworking store. www.Woodcraft.com. They have a store in SA. You WILL have trouble getting them off the peg in the store. They are all stuck together.

I ended up saying screw it and ordering the magnetics off of ebay. they will get here....eventually. lol

Here it is guys Suit up time. I'll get more better pics and videos the next time I suit up. I have a few minor adjustments to some trouble spots I need to make before an actual hunt. Enjoy the pics and video folks.

Not bad for a first suit up. My mom just bought me a Singer 160 anniversary sewing machine so Im going to go back and rework the belt and leather strips once i get it. Enough talk here's the video.
