Cool man, Thanks for the tip. I just checked them this morning and they still want to fro out abit. Definitely going to need to make some beads. I have two beads scultped ready for molding. I just 3 different sizes/styles to go befor I mold and cast them.
Here's some pics of my Predator as is.. Just need to install the electronics, finish the cannon and backpack and a few other things.

That pred is looking bad, mad and p**sed off. The strap holding the dreads (i know its temporary ) makes it look even more aggressive as it looks like a muzzled dog
Looking forward to seeing the electrics, backpack and canon. The dread rings sound interesting.... wheres the pictures????? lol

He does look a mean as hell with abit of S&M on the side right now.
I'm sanding the backpack and cannon some today. Also I'm going to weather the new Bio tonight
. I didn't post pics of the beads? Thought I did. I have two done already.. let me primer them and I'll get some pics up of them on a extra dread this evening when I update the thread. I can see the end man..It looks ugly..real ugly(in a good way).

Thanks man! I just slid them up the dread for now. I'm not going to use glue at this point because I want to mold them. It would be a total pain to hand carve 120 beads (3beadsx60dreads). Plus they stay on there pretty good already from the pressure the dread puts on it. I still need to do a head shake test when they are all on there.
Thanks Bud! Last night I started making one out of PVC pipe. The results are excellent. It actually looks Waay better than the sculpted ones I posted. Will post pics in a bit.

Finished two beads real quick and took a pic. I'm sure there is a thread on here about how to make PVC dread beads. I used a dremmel with various bits. I held the peices with a set of big needle nose pliers. I haven't found the huntorial on these yet, haven't really looked either.haha I think I read about people making them like this somewhere here on the lair. Gotta start working now, here's the pic

First of all..I'm soo glad the lair is back up. I was lost with out it.
That's pretty much what I was thinking about the huntorial. I looked through most if not all of them researching my build. I think I might do one since I'm making a ton of them. I think I might start a trade thread and see if anyone has any extras and might be willing to trade for some shirts or stickers. worth a shot.
I have a real deadline now to finish this suit and work out the kinks. I was asked to suit up and attend a benefit here locally for a friends family member who has cancer on Feb 4th . It's a small fundraiser here in the little town I live in. Obviously I will be there to hunt the cash out of their wallets for a good cause. Definitely will have pics and videos. Soooo many little things todo.
Lighting update:
Lasers finally came in today and I got those wired up(pics tomorrow working on the housing right now).. uuuh what else. I got a hold of ELworks about my order placed in Dec. Got it worked out and he ( I think it's a one man operation there, maybe 2) shipped me the red El pad and some more blue tape.
Backpack update: I worked out how it will attach to the.. well back. I'll post some pics tomorrow after I add one more leather strap and set of button fasteners. close to finishing it up. I'm not satisfied with it
Cannon update:
Kitty litter scoops are awesome! (New ones of course!)
Still haven't figured out what I want to do for the sides of the cannon. I'm working on it tho.

The Devil is in the details and your suit certainly has a lot of Devil in it. Kitty scoops ...that's a good one. I'm sure a lot of us that build are just like that... scouring the stores for imaginative use for day to day products. I bet they looked at you funny when you checked out with about 10 scoops. Anyway the PVC rings are fantastic. Time to snag a dremmel tool. I'm embarrassed to say I used the bare copper fittings alone to do some of my beads. I weathered them over a gas stove and dipped them in pool acid to get rid of the shine. They looked good, but those PVC ones rock.

Kitty scoops...... thats an awesome idea and it paid off for you. You have basically made my canon jump out of hiding a say 'work on me damn it!!!!'
Your canon reminds me a lil of what it would look like if you took pieces of an xeno and made a canon out of them. Love it. For extra detail, this is defiantly one to bare in mind. Thanks for sharing.
