The Devil is in the details and your suit certainly has a lot of Devil in it. Kitty scoops ...that's a good one. I'm sure a lot of us that build are just like that... scouring the stores for imaginative use for day to day products. I bet they looked at you funny when you checked out with about 10 scoops. Anyway the PVC rings are fantastic. Time to snag a dremmel tool. I'm embarrassed to say I used the bare copper fittings alone to do some of my beads. I weathered them over a gas stove and dipped them in pool acid to get rid of the shine. They looked good, but those PVC ones rock.

Thanks bud! When I checked out I said " I have a huge cat poop problem" Lol The look the girl gave me was priceless! I'm actually going to use a few of the bare copper fittings for some of my dreads to help mix them up abit, I'm going to try and grind on them abit with the Dremmel. Dremmels are a great investment! I use mine every other day.

And yes there is plenty of Devil in this build.

Kitty scoops...... thats an awesome idea and it paid off for you. You have basically made my canon jump out of hiding a say 'work on me damn it!!!!'

Your canon reminds me a lil of what it would look like if you took pieces of an xeno and made a canon out of them. Love it. For extra detail, this is defiantly one to bare in mind. Thanks for sharing.

I was thinking the samething about the cannon, It's very Xeno looking. I hope to have it done today. Now that I'm using the litter scoops on the cannon, I'm going back and adding them to the backpack. The curtains have to match the drapes. lol

Sorry I haven't posted like I have been . My design and print work has picked back up (business first quarter) and I have been laying out a 8 page Quarterly Newsletter for my biggest client. It's taken most of my time this week as they have unrealistic deadlines. I finished it up yesterday and I'm waiting for an approval and or changes now.

Back to the build...

More scoops, More bondo and some lids to a couple dollar air fresheners

This thing gets better every time I see it. This is one cracking build!!!!! When it comes around to painting, black gloss (like the xeno skin ) and gun metal silver (with weathering) would really set this off.

Yup gotta pay the bills and my clients pay fast and very well so they have to come first. haha

Thanks man! I'll try out the Xeno skin paint scheme when it get to painting it. A Xeno skinned Cannon will be pretty damn cool.

Also I went to the flea market today and picked up a Mr. Fantastic muscle torso suit for $2! Whata deal! Can't wait to use it on the next pred build!

Going with the Xeno idea in my head, I decided to add some Xeno type piping to the cannon. It was just what it needed.

Trilasers wired up and aligned with fancy blue on off switch.

Dread Keychain I made with an extra dread.

PVC Beads..need more..lots more.. I think I'm going to put together a quick huntorial on these.

Thanks bro! Next is the back pack, I redoing ALOT of it to match the Xeno Cannon. So it'll be a Xeno backpack v1.0 (yes I'm already planning a 2.0 made out of a alien head or scull cast. Just need bigger budget or to find a cheap damaged or miss cast Xeno. Thank you for the kind words man I really appreciate it, I love the lair and I'm here for life. Imagine if I didn't have a tight budget for my builds.

I went ahead and painted the cannon gloss black just to see what it would look like. I plan on hitting it with some light purple/blue metallic aswell. Then spraying gloss clear over that to try and give it the Xeno skin look and fix a couple dull spots. Oh yeah I added a base to it too. I used a couple pieces from a couple old desk lamps. Will have to attached it to a wider bottom piece to make it alittle more stable befor mounting it on the backpack. Which by the way I'll hopefully have done within the next couple days. I keep adding more stuff to it. lol

Pretty good balance huh?

Small update: Working on getting the Cannon mounted to the backpack this evening. The back pack is securely mounted to the armor I'll post pics a bit later, after I finish getting all this paperwork together for court in morning .

Thanks man! I can't wait either!! Basically all that's left for me todo before suiting up (dread beads aside) is adding some foam inserts into the feet and possibly and old pair of Croc shoe's. Then adding some padding in the mask so that it fits abit snugger. At that point I'd be comfortable doing some stress testing be for rigging up all the electronics.

SoI attached the cannon to the backpack. The mount is eehhhh.. a little sketchy. lol I think I'm going to cut off that shoulder wing looking thing and remount the cannon to a stabler part of the main backpack body . Looks pretty cool as is tho.

Looking good fella, thats coming along swimmingly. To be honest, I mount my canon armour to the main body of the backpack (well top area anyway) and it work out find for me. Didn't get in the way too much either
