That's what I was thinking!

I'd love sound too - but understand the reasons why it may not be a viable option for this prop.
As previously stated, the toy versions are made larger to accomidate the electronic components needed for the sound output - not just the sound chip mind you, but a speaker as well.
I'd rather the replica have NO sound, and be completely accurate then come with sound but be made slightly larger to accomidate sound FX.
It can be done with a SA sized Sonic and has been done. I know CT normally shouldn't be mentioned on here but his Sonic's are the right size and has enough room for the sound chip plus speaker.
I think that some people have a little trouble determining what is accurate because they've stared at unlicensed inaccurate idealised fan replicas too long and been told that they are the most accurate ever that their eyes are not used to seeing the real prop replicated properly.

The original screen used pieces couldn't incorporate sound, there was just no room...Which means there's a 75% chance that QMx's sonic won't have sound...
Im interested in seeing how QMX sonic pans out. I have no idea how they are going to aim for the $200 mark which seems impossible due to the complexity of the sonic as stated by CT. Good luck to them but if I'm putting that amount of money into a well made sonic, it will probably go to CT.
