I heard that this is one of the reasons to be in this community and I am glad you posted it also. I have been taken for a lot of money over the last couple years for the exact same thing. Two of them even contact me back when I wrote them and tell me how they can't send me what I paid for and that they can't refund my money. I'd almost prefer they didn't get back with me so it just felt like a mugging and not a Legion friend leaning on my sympathy. All the same I am very sorry this happened and I'm glad you called him out on it. There should be some blowback in the costume community for this stuff or it will just keep happening.

Today i am one very very Happy RPF Member ........
Remember this
A few months Back UK RPF Member Frosty (Ian) kindly offered to try and put this piece of rubbish back to some kind of displayable Head Piece .............. his work was cut out from the start however i am over the moon with all his hard work and how finally i have a Predator Display piece that i proud to say looks awesome...... Ian has relentlessly worked on this and i can not find the words to thank him enough for everything he has done.
The one draw back is the Dreads, financially and practically i couldnt get any new ones but they have been reshaped and painted and look 100% better.
Eyes have been refixed, Quills added, Dreads re-worked with new Dread Rings, the paint work was stripped and the whole thing re-painted.
This i can now say ROCKS ............ thank you Ian, you are a star

Well this has taken a lot longer than i thought to put right, hours and hours of work, the head had been brushpainted with straight acrylic paint, no pros aide primer or latex base added, so i literally picked and peeled the old paintjob off, once that was off there was more trouble, thin spots in the latex backed with what looked like car body filler, i had todig that out then make a snap mould of the texture elsewhere, then glue on a nrew piece and blend as best i could, its painted with a prosaide primer base then a combination of latex and pax paints, had to make a new eye section for both eyes as they were sunken inside the head, dreads were nearly useless, i patched and refinished them as best i could, its not perfect but its a lot better than it was

Superb ending to a crappy story!! What is it about this hobby that makes people think they can just screw others? I've gotten hosed when I was a noob, then got hosed by those who have been friends- great partying with them at DCon- "Don't worry, I'll get your $$$ to ya soon"... :facepalm:facepalm

I'm so glad to see this work out , Ian did a fantastic job repairing it, it looks sooooo much better now !!
Simon glad to see this came good, i got an infraction for speaking my mind about this clown, and the fact now and then, folk can get a bit god handed, but it was worth it, folk like this need a good burning at the stake, and its awesome to see your Pred at the hands of Ian, came out lovely!
