Picard S2

They are friends with him, if you missed that part of the entire TNG series and movies, it might be confusing.
Ya I got that they were friends with the actual Jean Luc Picard, from watching all the
episodes of TNG and subsequent movies. I'm just questioning how much attachment they
would have to a construct. I like my Tv and microwave, don't know if I would run to their rescue.

Wait for it….

He will flee to India and change his name to Noonien Singh and create a child named Khan in the last few scenes of the finale.
He'll need to travel back in time then. Khan was already born and off of earth by 96.

They don't need to tie Soong to Khan, Enterprise already did that.

TNG also had a few episodes about people who flippantly refer to artificial life as appliances. Doesn't go well for them.
They had a main character that was a less advanced version of Picard's body, yet they felt for him the same they would any other person.

So, first in season one they randomly changed Seven’s sexual orientation and now they’re changing her personality.

They changed both for S1.

How is it that the baddies' phasers are set to "poke a hole in you" when THEY use them, but are set at "disintegrate" when WE use them?
Made for people who dont like star trek/verisimilitude by people who dont like star trek/verisimilitude.

Re Episode 4: apparently the writers have never seen TNG's Time's Arrow .
Or "Yesterday's Enterprise".

JJ TREK sure does feature some brilliant writing. (PICARD FACEPALM)

I think y'all are being pretty hard on Wil Wheaton. He's hosting a TV show....what, you knock him for doing so enthusiastically? He's not supposed to do his job well? Also, he DOES adore Patrick Stewart, regardless of what he might think of his show. They hired him BECAUSE he's part of the "family", he is THERE to use it to connect with the guests. Hell, those elements of the discussions are all I'm there to hear (so I don't even watch the episodes with new cast members).
Bazinga? :p

I'm starting to loose the will to live for this show..
Another Filler episode bumpft of repeat scenes and the back and fourth was just awful...somewhere in this apparently 10 ep series there is a 2 hour story which TNG has already as have other Treks also done.

A trailer for the next series has also dropped but Must contain Spoilers..

I dont really care for Any of the characters who seem to get the lion share of the script. I like the Borg in my head thang but unless she can shoot out those Borg tentacles she's just trapped manipulating an annoying character..

Rios is the only character I like at this point. He’s the only one who’s developed into anything beyond season one.
Yeah I think he's going to stay in that reality and because its trashy writing will get married have kids and be his son in the future in a John Connor rip off..
He does love his cigars!

For collectors of Star Trek Booze, and are looking for booze that made an appearance in the most recent episode at the “black tie affair”…

A Colorado-based distillery’s product made an appearance at the event:

Read an interview with the season 3 show runner and he said something like "We wanted to give the TNG cast a good send off" and i'm over here like BRO DO YOU EVEN ALL GOOD THINGS???????

I am personally terrified of what they do to the characters AND actors in season 3. I might sit that one out, for my own sanity's sake.

More and more, I keep wondering if it would have been better for TNG to have truly ended on such a high-note with “All Good Things…”

Sometimes it’s best to go out while on top where the only way left to go is down.

The only thing I’m curious about is how they plan to portray Worf…will he be a Klingon, or a Kling-Orc?

Perhaps they’re trying to beat DEXTER for the “number of terrible finales” award.

I remember in Episode 1 Picard Season 1 they showed a news report that had a picture of Picard and Worf from "Redemption", so I'm assuming they'll stick with that look rather than make him an Orc.

Maybe they'll throw an Office party with the Borg Queen jump out the cake and Assimilate them All...

So far its been a pretty dire series..

The Soong family tree continues to demonstrate that it is, in fact, a tree that has no branches.
I thought about that years ago. I don't know if they'll ever do it, but it would make sense (well, "Star Trek" sense) if the reason all the Soongs always look the same is that they're all clones of the original Soong. After all, the first Soong (the one we're seeing in Picard) is a geneticist, and now after episode 6, we know he's been cloning, so that gives me more reason to think that he's been cloning himself for centuries, trying to live on past his human lifespan.
