Pepsi is making Pepsi Perfect? BTTF

That's maybe a stupid question but I saw many pics of empty bottles and I was wondering why no one filled them with real Pepsi?
That's what I would do, I guess.

I think the problem that is concerning a lot of people, me included, is if we keep the bottles filled with Pepsi and want to keep these as prop replicas, what will this do to the bottles over time. Pepsi does contain acids so there is a likelihood that these could damage the bottle over time and obviously the Pepsi would also become contaminated with chemicals from the plastic. The question of what to fill these with that will look like Pepsi but maintain the integrity of the bottle has been raised numerous times but no one has been able to come up with a suitable answer. I suppose something like water with perhaps a food colouring might do, but then would the food colouring taint the bottle over time as well. If anyone has any great ideas I am sure a lot of us would like to hear them.

The food coloring seems to be a good option, even if it slightly taint the bottle over time, the color is pretty dark so you shouldn't notice that much...

I read a lot of complaints from fans who purchased the Mexican Pepsi Perfects from Amazon.. Are these made by Pepsi for their Movie/Cinema

The Mexican Pepsi Perfect bottles are not sold by Amazon, but can be purchased on Amazon from other sellers. They were made by Pepsi in Mexico as a cinema promotional item. The Mexican bottles are low quality, and cheaply made compared to U.S. Pepsi Perfect bottles that were actually sold by Amazon.

I've been trying so hard to cut deals with people on eBay to get a bottle shipped to the UK, but the prices are just so crazy, I just can't justify it, as much as I want a bottle.
I have posted in the WTB (or trade) section regarding Pepsi Perfect (sorry if I shouldn't mention that here, but I really want to try and source one if possible).

shoxxo and Kevzie, There have been a number of Mexican bottles sold in the £30 - £40 range with shipping of about £7, so are you saying that this would be too expensive because I doubt you will get one much cheaper than that. Those for sale in the UK on eBay have been going for £50 plus postage upwards and they are the Mexican version imported for the BTTF special screenings. The limited edition version was only shipped within the US and the problem there is that if you want it with the limited edition box, shipping will be about $50 to $75 depending on the carrier you use, so there is going to be a minimum cost of at least £40 - £50 for what ever bottle you try to get.

In all honesty the argentina botte is very innacurate. The cap quality is a little better and still the wrong color.The straw tip spout is a weird slim hole to sip out of, the mexican bottle is better i think.The straw is way to thick also. Just get a mexican bottle and mod it to the correct color and logos and you're all set.

Half you guys are crazy to spend close to $200 on those Argentina bottles when almost the same bottle is going for 40-50

Yeah, I know what you mean and after seeing how good Freddy's modded bottle looks I am inclined to go that route and not bother with the Argentinian bottles at all.

The Mexican one is way too big though. If you have $200 to spare, I'd rather wait for Gary's bottles. I wouldn't pay more than $50/$60 for any of them to be honest (the officials I mean xD). But they are really cool to have as part of a collection to be honest. I don't think I'd have any without Diana x)
