Pepsi is making Pepsi Perfect? BTTF

I got a message from the seller that sold me my Argentina bottle. Apparently the label comes off easily. So anyone who gets one in the future should be careful.

User HurleyFX on Facebook, mentioned in the BTTF group:

"A friend and professional prop maker who has worked on films like Guardians of the Galaxy and The Imitation Game has decided to fix this by releasing a good replica of the drink; a 'Perfect' one, if you will. He also intends to donate a chunk of the proceeds towards Parkinson's Research, which I think is an amazing thing to do.Details are still being worked out, but the replica will cost around £30 each. These will be high quality bisphenol free HDPE reusable bottles with functional straw and sealed drinking nozzle and authentic decals with laser engraved best-before date of 21st October 2015 at the bottom. Knowing the standard of his work, they'll be something special.

Anyway, he'll need to get a minimum order of 1000 to place an order with his industrial contacts, so please pass this information along, and let me know if you or anyone you know would be interested. I'll post more details when I have them."

I would definitely be interested in one these should they get produced [emoji16]

Bit more in my price range but I wouldn't mind a Gary PP bottle if I can afford one [emoji2]

I've noticed a lot of the ones on eBay have damaged labels, too bad

I've read a few people asking about whether they should display their bottles with the cola inside or not.

My girlfriend a few years ago bought a couple of those stupid coke bottles with our names on them and kept them in her bedroom unopened. Over time the bottles warped horribly. They got significantly thinner around the middle.

I don't know if the plastic for the PP bottle is the same but thought I would give the lucky people that own one, a heads up.

I could see that happening.. There's current an unopened Pepsi Blue bottle on eBay and it's undergone some pretty bad warping..

I wonder if that would go back to it's correct shape if you just broke the seal though.

You'd think so. For it warp like that, the contents which are normally under positive pressure appear to have gone into a negative pressure (or vacuum) which pulls the bottle in. Temp change could do this. As soon as the seal is broken and normal atmospheric pressure is restored, the bottle should go back to its normal shape.

Just signed as well. However, I think Pepsi is now done with Pepsi perfect. To start selling them again after the first two messed up releases would seem that pepsi doesn't know what their doing and that would be bad for them.

Seem? They don't know what they are doing.
