Pepsi is making Pepsi Perfect? BTTF

U.S. only again... 898723.jpg

If somebody can try to grab me one, I would really appreciate it. I live in Canada.

Thanks!

Well I just got an official cancellation notice about my delayed one from Walmart, saying the one that I ordered and got a confirmation on release day is not happening. Effing sucks, hope I can get one on the third.

They know how popular this is (even if they were not aware before because they didn't do their research) and just release a tonne of these now.

US only again.
Too Bad.

I have a better chance to buy one from Gary Weaver someday I guess and that would totally be worth my money.

So for bottle we have

USA Amazon release ( our standard version)

Mexican cinema release ( looks closer to screen used then USA release)

Argentina special contest release ( looks like Mexican version but better cap)

Australia KFC release ( Not yet released but looks like exact copy of USA release)

Uruguay release ( looks like Argentina release)
do I have my bottles correct? Is there any more country's involved in the Pepsi perfect release that I'm missing?

There was a limited release in the UK to those attending a special BTTF screening in London, but the bottles look exactly the same as the Mexican ones and most are on sale on eBay now so Pepsi really targeted the REAL fans!!!

Going to the shop.pepsi.com link, this FAQ was up regarding the upcoming pre-order. It mentions their "retail partner" so who knows who will actually be selling it to you. And if it was a Christmas or holiday gift, you are out of luck (shipping on or after 12/26). As of right now, none of the other Pepsi Shop sections are even available to browse. Best of luck to you all; this sounds like it will be overly complicated and likely a pain to deal with!

How do I buy a Pepsi Perfect?

On Nov. 3 at 9 AM ET, go to shop.pepsi.com and find the link re-directing you to our retail partner who will accept pre-orders.

For official news, follow Pepsi’s Twitter handle

So up yours to the rest of the planet and Christmas comes early AGAIN for the scalpers as anyone outside the US will be forced to try to buy one of these from eBay sellers or the like. Great work AGAIN Pepsi!!!!! I can only guess that their marketing team's only brain cell died of loneliness or lack of use!!!!!!!

Hey you get it, I get it, every other BTTF fan gets it.

Yes tooling costs money, but once done, its done and then in come the $M especially this being 2015 and all and you make something EVERYONE wants.

The problem is the marketing geni-asses at Pepsi didn't get it and still don't get it and this is why there is not going to be a mass release.

Never in the history of film did a movie give us a future predicted day, date and time that we would actually look forward to living to see. As a world wide multi million dollar company, how do you NOT take the action and leverage off that?

This is why they will always be #2.

Same with Nike and the Mags. They could sell 1,000 on eBay for $10,000 and make $10 million, with only 1000 rich people getting shoes they've wanted for decades (or just to show off how much money they have), or they could make like 30,000 of them, sell them for $500 each, make $15 million, and have a whole lot of happy fans of both BTTF and sneaker collecting in general. They don't even have to mass produce self lacing ones, I'd still spend $500-$700 on authentic Nikes that had everything else.

Ugh. Canadians screwed out of Pepsi Perfect bottles once more. :(

Well that pretty much ruined my day... I thought we'd get a chance to order it since the store shipped t-shirts and other items to Canada.

Seems the only solution is to use MyUS or Bongo and pay $60+ for shipping and that's a bit too steep when I'd rather have the Argentina bottle anyway.

They clearly don't care about selling those bottles to fans.

i so wish we had the cinema release, i have family that works there and i would have snagged every one up to distribute here.. man i wish this release was little bit easier for everyone

Just a thought for all of the non-US people on here that are having issues with the bottles not being shipped to them or costing $60 or more bucks to have them shipped out though Bongo or other 2nd party places. I honestly do not know what shipping is overseas or anything since I have never shipped anything overseas myself, but what if the non-US people ship to people here on the RPF US address and then those people could ship them to you?... I dont know if that sounds stupid or a bad idea or anything?... My girlfriend was able to get one that we now "share" during the first release and as crazy as that was I dont want to even attempt to go though it again in November.
Anyways... just a thought. I dont know if that would be a cheaper route or not? but yeah, there's my dumb idea.

I have good news and bad news regarding the Argentina bottles. Good news: I found 3 sellers willing to offer me at least one Argentina Pepsi Perfect bottle. Bad news: one seller wants $230 per bottle, another seller wants $250, and the third seller wants in excess of $300 each. One seller told me, "
they were just 100 of a limited edition. There are sellers who want $ 1500 for each bottle." I don't know how true that is. What do you guys think? :unsure

I'm telling you this, although I'm a huge fan I don't think they are worth it. At least my Mexican version isn't. They are made very cheap. The plastic is very thin is squeezes easily and the bottom is badly shaped. As for the logo most of them look like they are almost see thru because they are poorly printed.
The bottle IMO is worth about $50 top. Too bad I paid double for mine.
I don't think the Argentinian ones are better, except for the cap.

But maybe he means Argentinian $.
100 ARS = $10 USD
