Pepsi is making Pepsi Perfect? BTTF

I decided to pull the trigger on a slightly damaged Argentina bottle. Since it has this defect and was way less than any of the other ones I've seen I am going to paint the cap the right blue, add the silver strip, and put an accurate decal on it. Can anyone suggest a good can of spray paint that matches the movie? Or if I can find a way to restore the chipped off decal I might keep it how it is.

Did you buy it directly from someone in Argentina?

Well I drank mine and immediately refilled it with the same Pepsi and it now resides in my collection, but if the possible leaching of chemicals aspect is true them I guess we should all throw away the contents after the use by date or just keep it with the knowledge that after this date it is probably too dangerous to drink?.

All I can say is, I recommend that you do your own research and not take my word for it. I could be right but I could be wrong. Maybe also research how long a 20 oz. bottle of Pepsi is supposed to be safe to drink. *shrugs* The more websites you read, the better to come to a conclusion. I personally tend to lean towards what the majority of websites say... when I bother to check several on the same topic that is.

"A friend and professional prop maker who has worked on films like Guardians of the Galaxy and The Imitation Game has decided to fix this by releasing a good replica of the drink; a 'Perfect' one, if you will. He also intends to donate a chunk of the proceeds towards Parkinson's Research, which I think is an amazing thing to do.Details are still being worked out, but the replica will cost around £30 each. These will be high quality bisphenol free HDPE reusable bottles with functional straw and sealed drinking nozzle and authentic decals with laser engraved best-before date of 21st October 2015 at the bottom. Knowing the standard of his work, they'll be something special.

Anyway, he'll need to get a minimum order of 1000 to place an order with his industrial contacts, so please pass this information along, and let me know if you or anyone you know would be interested. I'll post more details when I have them."

How do we show interest? The guy should start a thread in the junkyard.

If it's a 1, that is what both Pepsi and Pepsi with real sugar use. As such, I'm guessing it's safe to drink for as long as any 20 oz. bottle of Pepsi is safe to drink. However I suggest that no one re-use it like a refillable water bottle as that can be unsafe.

I want to chime in from a lesson I learned from a business entrepreneurship class I attended one weekend. The teachers said don't necessarily worry about going into a crowded marketplace, competition is good, the consumer wants options/choices. The analogy they made was when you're on the highway, do you take the food exit with one food option (McDonald's) or do you take the exit with a bunch of restaurants? Of course it's the latter.

In this case, I think most people just can't enough of BTTF. Personally I would want to get my hands on a US, Mexico, Argentina, Gary Weaver and friend of Hurley FX bottle, if possible. I want it all!
