Pepsi Full Size Amidala.

Hi there Guys.

Remember back when EP I was released. Pizza Hut and KFC had full size display mannequins of EP I characters made by Pepsi. As far as I remember there was –

• Darth Maul.
• Jar Jar.
• Yoda.
• Watto.
• Anakin.


But was there a Amidala.

I remember Darth Maul, Yoda, Jar Jar and Anakin. Never seen an Amidala statue. Because of her elabourate costumes it probably wouldn't have worked out well

There was an Amidala statue that was released around the same time, although I am not sure if it was manufactured by Pepsi (or the same company that did the Pepsi figures)

The FAO toystore in Orlando had one on display, and when a friend of mine went down there to pick up the full size X-wing we purchased, he aquired it as well.

It was fairly accurate, and even included lights in the "bubble" areas around the bottom of the dress.

My brother-in-law works for Frito Lay who had the contracts for SW and I believe, is owned by Pepsi.

I may have an Amidala standee and it may or may not be in it's original shipping box...possibly unopened. If you are interested, please shoot me a pm and I'll do some digging.

In any case, I know I have unopend store displays and I know exactly where that are. Just have to unearth them from my basement.

Thanx guys.

A guy down here in South Australia claimed he had one. He got it from a Pizza Hut. I told him I hadn’t heard of one – and that if it was legit – it was worth heaps . He said he was happy to get $500. I told him it would be more like $5000. He later told me he had sold it for $5500. But he never showed me photos. I’m just a little suss on this guy because he like to tell lies.

As a collector of the full size pepsi statues I can tell you no Amidala was made.
At best a fan could and has made one.
The list of the ones made for Pepsi where:
Darth Maul
Yoda
Watto
Anakin
Jar Jar

Amidala and a few others where only done in the standee ways made out of cardboard.


I have the Watto, Yoda and Maul, Just took the Maul to a con and Ray Park signed the base, will post pics if you want.

I need Jar Jar and Anakin, but the only Ebay I have seen is for Jar Jar and it was in the UK, so shipping would be high..

Anyway, if someone says they have one, but doesnt show pics, in referance to Amidala, I would kind of doubt it. There again, recently a fan was selling a life size Emperor on Ebay, it was fan made and blew away even the Pepsi life size.

D'OH. Sorry...I misread and thought you were talking about SW standees.

I can also concur that there was no Amidala mannequin made by Pepsi. But if you find one for $500, buy it. :lol

There WAS a life size Amidala in FAO back in the day.
It's the rarest of all, just like the Hamleys UK Trade Federation Droid Fighter Electronic Display (not the ones hanging over the ceiling at Toysrus along with Naboo Fighter.)

i also have two of the pepsi/frito lay lifesize figures, yoda and jar jar.
there was no amidala.
they were made by TIC TOC from Dallas for Blockbuster as a promotional item for episode 1 supported by Pepsi and Frito Lay.

Yep...That FAO one is the one a friend of mine has...

Like I said, I wasn't sure if it was done by the same people that did the Pepsi ones...But it did appear around the same time.
