The Latin expression "In Situ" means a few things depending on the context. Generally speaking it means "In Situation" or where it belongs.Situ?? Where will she be posting?
GOOD EYE..Not many know about this.My buddy, who is building a full size Orca found this years ago..In one scene where Hooper was rigging up the second barrel,if you look close you can see a small pulley right next to the forward barrel,on the port side that pulls the barrels forward.I had never notice this till the other day, it’s long been known that Orca 2 had a curved back the the barrel guide and Orca 1 was open ended but if you look very closely Orca 1 has a sliding frame that explains the barrels jumping forward. It must be bungee operated.

Yeah it was actually operated by someone off camera pulling a cord. I believe if memory serves, when they get down to about 2 barrels the rig was maxed out and couldn't shuttle any more barrels forward.GOOD EYE..Not many know about this.My buddy, who is building a full size Orca found this years ago..In one scene where Hooper was rigging up the second barrel,if you look close you can see a small pulley right next to the forward barrel,on the port side that pulls the barrels forward.

Just for you. I’ve been sick with flue since New Year’s Day and with Christmas I haven’t been working on the Orca. Quick catch up.I am missing my daily dose of Orca![]()

I have a few weeks before I go back to work . There are a few little things I can change on the model but on the hole it ready for purpose, ie shooting some video. The main problem is at this time of year I’m not going to get the look I want. But I can work on the shark and the display mount ( anamatoric ) I’m also updating the 3D model with all the information learned during this proses. I will upload the model to CGtrader when it’s done. So not much to show apart from new chum buckets, float and side cleat.View attachment 1655461View attachment 1655462View attachment 1655463View attachment 1655464View attachment 1655465

I’ve got permission from one of the local sailing club but the one I want to uses hasn’t got back to me yet. There is a local model boat club but there lake is surrounded by trees.Any news on the video part of this wonderful build flimzy?
