Exactly mine too - but with the DVDsLove how my first reaction is still "man, those are some giant books behind Hooper... oh, right."
Awesome work. Awesome.

The main prop forum would probably be best since you would get more traffic and input from other Jaws fans.If we were to put together a comprehensive collection of the differences in ORCA 1and 2 and the dressing changes like the anchor, box’s, books, exhaust, paint and even the barrel count. Where would we do that?
The cage looks fantastic. I made a 1/8 cage about 10 years ago and also need to scale one to fit on my Orca model. Love the detailsCage finished, time to take it apart, in the future I might make another one to display assembled.View attachment 1644829View attachment 1644830
Bruce looking great.FDM printer is still working so why not. Hey, you're doing fine by the looks of it. And that screenshot you posted is of the ORCA 2. I've attached a screenshot of the ORCA so you can see the position of the louvre cabinet compared to the tongue and groove cladding. It also shows the position of the porthole compared to the window and the door.OK time to fess up there are 3 big mistakes I've known for a while but were too far gone to change so I'm leaving them. I have changed the 3D model but as for ripping everything out now, I'm just bowing my head in shame and moving on.
The main one is the placement of this bulkhead it should be lined up with the center of the window bringing it forward just under 10mm. My reasoning was the shelf didn't look that deep and the hatch in the Ref (I was using ) was a single peace. it was only later I found out it was a double hindged hatch cover and half brock off during the shoot and was moved to. then I must apologize because this relates to the poop deck looking too small. it turns out my deck is the right size its the roof that is slightly too big because the walls should have a very slight slope/ angle to them. I hadn't noticed this mainly because if it was me designing the set, I would think it add time unnecessarily not having any straight walls. No was WRONG

It's only one plank but it adds up. Then the little thing, the little round hole in the side is too low I put it on the midline of the door window. wrong. and I'd made it before realizing it.

OMG thats amazing, one of the best scenes as Quinn recounts his harrowing time on the Indianapolis...is there a greater movie story told? Great work, love it!!I bought another Quint and 2 Hoopers so I can make Brody and the gangs Speech costumes. too cold to go outside for a photo shoot today but had to have a play.View attachment 1647906View attachment 1647907View attachment 1647908View attachment 1647909View attachment 1647910View attachment 1647911View attachment 1647912
Thank you so much for the offer, but my barrels are done and ready. I do love the pilot beacon you made to flash on your barrel. Hot Toys had a 1/6 scale F15 pilot that had the beacon. I bought that thing 10 years ago when Trevor Grove did his 1/6th Jaws Heads. The beacon still worked for the 1/9th figures though. Thank you again for asking!Wow the full costum department .I have a box of barrels and 3D prints left over I didn’t use .if you want them. PM me your address and I can send you them after Christmas.
Do you live in Bucks, Flimzy?Have no idea how the shoot went haven’t looked at the footage yet . It was so cold had to pull ice out of the water. I might get a lake shoot in before I go back to work. There are 2 place near me that aren’t surrounded by trees but need to get permission first. Might do the sky shoot again in the summer when the sun set behind the model just for dramatic effect. ( and I don’t need a heated eye cut on the camera)
I’m shooting at pinewood next year and they have the massive tank. So if I’m lucky enough that someone is using it and has it filled I could sneak in a lunch time shoot.View attachment 1649491
Don’t forget to tell us lot on here so we can all pop over to that thread as well. The main prop forum would probably be best since you would get more traffic and input from other Jaws fans.
I’d love to be able to contribute to that if that’s ok? I think I know the ORCA and ORCA II better than I know my own familyFDM printer is still working so why not.
