Limited Run Oblivion Movie Rifle - Second Run Capped!

I'm going to make this rifle that Tom Cruise uses in the new Oblivion movie and I was wondering if anyone would want one as well?

The pieces will be cast in color (lower half parts in dark grey, upper parts in light grey, some black parts as well). The second run will be announced later in the Year, the cost is $450.00 per kit for a full rifle assembly (53 cast parts, 17 screw and spring hardware pcs). $375.00 for just the shell parts (30 cast parts)to convert your air-soft rifle to the gun. The size is based of a standard air-soft and may not fit your bushmaster.

In the film ,is it a rifle that fires conventional projectiles or is it some kind of energy weapon?
I was tempted to go and watch the film today (1st day of release in the UK) but might wait until next week when it should be a bit quieter.

Hey Renaissance_man, Bowelrock pegged it right, the gun is a Masada, so I believe it's a conventional projectile weapon.

I can look into vinyl cut stuff, but I think a kit would be a cheaper option. I know I'm gonna paint one up with lights for myself.

That's what I usually do, but I'm worried it will be too heavy. But hey, some people love that real weight!:lol

According to the Candle Power forums the torch is a Oveready, custom Moddoolar head with L1N/XPG engine, on a ZRS body/tail (one cell).

Thanks for the info! I've tracked down the masada I want to use, but it's $300 bucks! So I'm exploring some options for machining only the handle and clip area and building the rest of the rifle around it.

I actually have hope for this, I liked Tron Legacy and I'm hoping that Cruise didn't screw with Kosinski's head too much.:lol

Thanks for the info! I've tracked down the masada I want to use, but it's $300 bucks!

Do a search for the A&K Masada. It's the Chinese made Airsoft version and way less than the authentic Magpul model.

I got the impression it was an energy weapon the same as the drones, as you see him switching on his handgun
