Daman, let me be the first to say that I have NO DOUBT you are going to knock the armor sculpt out of the park!
With that, a couple of things are sticking out to me. Foremost, it appears the original is a vest and does not continue onto the shoulders. I would venture to guess this was done for movement. If you go along the collar from the centerline of the chest to where the vest armor ends (I am looking at the right side of the picture), it appears that there are five columns of plates radiating down and out, ending prior to the shoulder like a sleeveless t-shirt or vest. Now, this is just a suggestion, but if you are keeping to the picture, you may want to determine where that fifth column of tiles will be most comfortable for you to wear. that is, imagine you are fighting in battle and this were hammered metal, where would it HAVE to stop so that your arm could swing freely with maximum mobility yet maximum protection; this would be your maximum working line. Then, rework your columns back towards the centerline, maintaining the arcs radiating out from the neck in the same direction, making up the difference in the dimensions with the column of largest tiles. It would appear to me that your radiating arcs have flipped where the second row of giant tiles transitions to the smaller ones, columns 3 & 4 (From centerline). Your interior columns, from the largest tiles in towards the centerline, look great.
Aside from that, the monotony of the details is where the jamming music comes into play, but your attention to detail is where this is really going to kick this sculpt up a notch
Or you can tell me to piss off and continue,
