Wow... Certainly not worth that much X)

Worth being relative to the buyer, the perfect example exists in that eBay seller's completed listings for a sample pair of some Eminem Jordan IV's. Someone spent $24,000 on some shoes that, like the screen used Air Mags, WILL fall apart in 20 years. There is absolutely nothing that will prevent the soles from failing. At least the Last, will last. he he he

what kind of fibric is this? sory for the foto... hk4six5bsqssc5ufynu3.jpg

yes this is a good one too, but the grey is too dark. If you find a really light grey, tell me where ;)

I think the light grey speaker cloth is marketed as silver. I used to work in a hi-fi store that sold it by the meter. Once they sold out, they didn't bother to restock, just deleted the product from the line. It was close to MAG grey.

@RVLF Is this kind of fibric you are talking about? the worst part is i can´t find any place spandex with light grey :/

I don´t know if it is good idea to buy in white and then paint it grey light...
Nope, the one I found had a larger knit pattern.
I had the same problem, that's why I made my first test pair in black :D

You can always dye white to get the exact colour you want.
I know, but I didn't find some good dye for this and every store I got to ask about told me that these dye aren't really good and wouldn't last long :/
And this is a process that would take time to get the right colour by running lots of tests to get it right.
If you go for a white fabric that you want to tint, I guess you'd better go for some angelus paint and airbrush the fabric.
That's what I'd like to do if I had an airbrush (these are not cheap with the air compressor)

You don't wash a pair of shoes the same as you would cloths. Yes, constant washing of dyed clothes will cause the dye to leach out.

ye, that's what I thought, but I really don't want to have to deal with this too :/
I had too much invested time and money on my buildups ^^ if someone is willing to test and share the method i'd be happy ;)

@RVLF yes i saw them, they are really cool :cool but i think i´m going to be wild and i will buy the white spandex :facepalm :lol thank´s for the help mate :D

All the Mag replicas are synthetic knits. I would use a heavy polyester knit. And you can buy it in a variety of grays.

Spandex only looks kind of similar due to the ribbing.

Any link or example of this ?

Well, I know for a fact that it's synthetic due to how it reacts to a heatgun.....:lol

As far as showing the exact cloth. You have the HC, so you know what that looks like. It's just a standard knit, I think double-knit is what it is called. Like the kind of knit you'd find on athletic shirt cloth. The knit on the HC cloth is bigger than a t-shirt knit.

This is a pretty standard example.

You could look into baseball pants cloth. It's typically a heavyweight synthetic knit.

I found a light grey shirt in a rag bad that I swear was the same knit as the MAGs. At some point, this cloth was "off the shelf".
