the V2s are about $200 US, where at the moment the V3s have been lowered to $500. Pay by Western Union and use the discount code that's been mentioned on here previously and it goes down to $454.96. Well worth it. Those V3s are awesome.

Do you have a V2 shoe or you planning to get one?

if you are planning to get one, you may as well wait and get a V3. it would save you a lot of work.

If you are doing the toebox, I recall someone else saying that they used some nail polish remover or acetone very thinly along the toebox edge to unglue it and it seemed to work.
that way you can peel off the entire toebox in one piece without any tears or damage to the rubber.

I think it was someone on here, not sure who, but that was a good idea they came up with rather than using a knife or cutting into the edge.

I remember that as well. Don't remember the name, but it was the cleanest toe box removal ever.
DragonGalvy, what code?

I saved it as a text file on my PC as I knew I'd be getting a second pair and couldn't be bothered scrolling through the forum here for ages till i found it again. It still worked when I made the second order yesterday :D

I should try buying some nail polish remover to do the toe on one of my pairs of V2s. Can't steal any from my GF as she doesn't bother to paint her nails.

Didn't got any problem with the colour or the fabric ?

Not that I remember seeing. The glue just came off the rubber with no tearing.

it actually only goes down to $484 unless you select western union.
then it goes to $454 which isn't too bad.
Let's hope it continues to go down.
I would like to see them on aliexpress, then it will make life a bit easier ordering.

Yeah I wish Karen Chen would sell these.

Hi wondering if you guys can help out a beginner here. I got the kit and is now trying to remove the original lights of the v2, I got to the clear plastic box under the shoe and is having trouble removing it, it's glued down tight. I try heating with hairdryer but still can't seem to be able to pull it out, I afraid to apply further heat because the shoes is starting to crease up already. And about the bubble lights, do you just clip the old wires once you open up the cover far enough (around the end of the swoosh logo)? and how would you feed the new wire in? do you cut a hole? I'm new to such modification so I'm really hoping someone can help me out, thanks!

Welcome to the forum.

HERE is my mod blog. I ended up cutting the battery out from underneath. Only mistake I did was not to glue the little grey flat back in and why the pink filler is visible.

Thanks! Great mod you did. I'll try cutting it, but I don't plan on removing the soles so will see if I can somehow cut from the inside.
