@markpoon They came out great and very easy tutorial. I've only done one shoe but so far, so good. Thanks again.

@Bennyvalle07 that looks great. Do you have pictures or a tutorial of where you put the battery and inverter? Id love to see how it all went together for my own straps. Cheers mate
looks great! is that a HC MAG?

Yes they are the HC Mags.
Right now, the inverter and batter holder is sort of just hanging in the back until i can figure out how to set it up. I may post a tutorial of how mine was done. Not the neatest but the results are really good.

I soldered all the wiring as @markpoon suggested. i separated the strap stitching from the top and bottom and slid the EL in to the area where i cut out the "Rhombus" shape for the Nike logo. DO NOT DO the soldering of the inverter wire to the EL until you cut a hole in the strap to slide the wiring in (as show in the picture above). This makes it easier for you to hide the wiring inside the strap and slide it out of the hole in the back. Since the stitching is impossible to put back, i was able to use ELMERS SPRAY ON GLUE to reglue both pieces of the strap back together. Regarding the back strap shell, I secured the soldered wires with a glue gun as well as gluing them to the back of the strap shell. I also cut a small hole for the inverter to sit as well as the switch at the top.

Here you can see how i cut a small box for the the switch as well as using a glue gun the secure it down. Easy access for turning it on. Even with all the components, it doesn't seem to take up much room in the back of the shoe.

It doesn't look too bad from the back and is hardly noticeable.

Overall, i am satisfied with the results.
hey mark, i have the HC MAGs as well and would love to get both the light kit here and the NIKE swoosh decals for the sides and NIKE MAG decal for the back of the shoes. will you post here when you have everything done? with the light kit and the NIKE swoosh decals, these HC MAGS will look great. thanks! i know you are going on vacation soon, so let us know when you can.
@markpoon, Hi again. I did a test of the second EL before installing it and it doesn't seem to be working. It definitely isn't the battery. Im not sure if it is the inverter or the El...
hi Bennyvalle07,
not a problem, let me know exactly which part isn't working & I'll send you a replacement.
I'm honestly not sure what exactly is not working. Is there any way you can send the El and inverter just to be safe. I don't want to open up the other strap and swap wires to figure it out.
I'll check & lyk.
Did you find out if it's adaptable on a 9V setup?
Thanks
Allright, thanks Ben!Im sure the EL is but you may have to switch to a 9v inverter instead, not the one he supplies.
