Nike MAG replicas (V2 and V3 only)

Are we all under assumption that the makers of the V3 are improving as the new batches are coming out? ie on the quality of the clear soles?

I don't think that would be a good assumption. I would think that they have all the parts already made and that they assemble them as ordered. The only thing that might be controlled is the finer details (glue marks, misplaced
logos or ankle buckles). I'm sure everything else is made already. My thoughts with the EL failures is that when they build the shoe, they are being careless with the EL and possible forcing them or bending them.

@FreddyTV ahh i see, thanks for clarifying,

I wouldn't be under that assumption. My pair and other pairs I've seen on this threat seem to be lower quality than their first batch. Maybe in a couple months as orders slow down they will start to get better but as of now I think they are behind.

Yeah it seems that way unfortunately, I may hold off for a couple of months after they catch up!

Anyone still waiting on QC Photos? Iv ordered size 12 still waiting since Tuesday. This is my second pair and seems like these are made to order and they are behind right now.

Ordered my 12s on Thurs - haven't received my QC photos yet. No rush on my end as long as they don't have any crazy flaws.

I had the same issue with a price increase after ordering. Mine worked out to be 611 USD with the discount applied. I will contact Martha regarding this.

Also, something needs to be revised regarding the charging ports. I know they're supposed to be as close to the RD as possible, however the ports need to be angled slightly away from the body of the shoe as they are a b!tch to insert. It would also be nice to have a charging indicator as the RDs do, even if the electronics can't be revised, just a simple LED indicator on the actual body of the charger would do as acknowledgement that the circuit is complete.

Yea, My CC company texted me if I approved a $638 charge? Which I Clearly didn't.
I relayed it's suppose to be $599, for which I have the screen shot of the final purchase with trans #.

... So Obviously I sent a long e-mail complaint regarding the change of price. I'm sure they won't care. :behave

Is anyone planning on doing a sock toe mod on these V3s?

It may not be possible now. If these were made the same as the V2, a non issue, but it seems to be that these are constructed the same as the V1, so a total be-otch to even get apart, much deconstruct, remove the toe cap and reassemble.

I have asked if these can be assembled without the toe cap. No answer yet.

glad I'm not the only one - this has to be addressed - it's not good business.

Also, quality does seem to have declined since the first batch so I'm guessing they are up against it. My first pair were practically perfect (apart from the failing EL panel), but as far as construction goes, there were no real issues. Subsequent pairs have had flaws, these pairs I've resigned to 'wear pairs' & I have one A pair to keep.

I will be holding off from ordering any more until I see what happens with QC.

I'm considering going for a premium account & putting a few 7's on eBay or here at some point as my collection keeps growing...

She's one of David's team, I seem to get the best & most helpful response when talking to her. She's been mentioned earlier on in this thread.

No, it's not. I have messaged Martha, it's not acceptable at all.
I have spoken directly with David. His exact response was, "China banks do not have latest international currency, the currency difference make the total is difference, this happen some times, sorry for the cause of inconvenience."

I send a email about this as well. I have a 20,00 off code from my last pair and at checkout i was quoted 579 and my CC was charged 608

Same crap he told me word for word (copy/paste) lol

Well that's BS. It would be my bank that charges me a fee to make an international transaction to a different currency, not a China bank. It's dependent on the exchange rate between GBP & USD or Yuan for me. The amount in GBP may change but never the total in USD or Yuan.
