Nike MAG replicas (V2 and V3 only)

Do they actually do half sizes or they supplying the next size up and just writing the half size on the box?

If the power lace version with the lights and other gripes fixed comes out, will we name them V4s for simplicity, or V3PL for accuracy?

Inside the shoe on the label has half sizes. But they run what seems a little more then half a size big when compared to a normal pair of Vans I have. (all the shoes seem to run half a size big not just half sizes though)

So my thought on this is that if you request a 10.5, you actually get an 11. Does this seem about right?

Yes, and If you wear a size 10 for example ordering a size 9.5 would fit better on you. (from the measurements I have done on 2 pairs of mags) not sure how consistent this is..or what molds they use for which sizes. We would need a much larger test of more people measuring theirs to know for sure.

Do we count the MP MAG as a copy or knock off?

1. MP MAG - 2008(?) - 1st replica MAG from Singapore. No lights.
2. PVC MAG - 2011 - 1st copy from China. No lights.
3. Cloth over foam - 2013 - 2nd Chinese copy. LED lighting.
4. Cloth over foam - 2016 - 3rd Chinese copy. Full EL and LED set up.

I think I'll safe bet and get a 10. I can always add an insole of they are too loose.

My first Markpoon mod I did... IMG_7280.jpgIMG_7289.jpgIMG_7290.jpg

Then I did this to them: Img_1050.jpgImg_1053.jpg

Then I did the first ever scratch builds (that I gave up on): DSC03879.JPGDSC03783.JPGDSC03991.JPGDsc03801.jpgDSC03861.JPG

Then the V2's: DSC06259.JPG

Now the v3's.....

Brad, welcome back to the "Nike can go **** themselves" club! :D

If they don't know about these shoes yet, NIKE will crap themselves when they do discover them.
And then their accounting department can crunch the numbers on how much money they lost by not making this shoe an affordable release to the general public for 2015.

As the creator of the nomenclature around the naming of the shoes, I class the Mark Poon's as "replicas." Not a copy, not a knockoff. They weren't designed for anyone other than us nerds. So knockoff or copy sounds a bit dismissive to my ear.

The PVC Mags were what I originally called K-Mags, short for Knockoff Mags. They were the V1s, from the beginning there were rumors of a "Version 2" that would be 95% accurate. When the V2s came out, they adopted the name, since it was next in line.

Minor changes to the V2s had some calling them V2.5s... but most don't separate the two since the lineage is more V2 than new.

HCs come from the same lineage, so they can be considered an offshoot (A worse offshoot) of the V2s.

Now what we have are the V3s. And I can't wait to get a pair.

I want another pair but am worried, as customs still hasn't notified me about my held pair yet. If anyone here has a size 8 that is slightly flawed that they don't want or if someone can order a pair in size 8 fr me and then ship them to me ( I of course will pay for everything and toss you a middleman fee) that would be awesome.

Also do you guys think it is a random check at customs? Or is my address and name flagged?

by middleman fee do you mean enough for me to buy a pair for myself?

I would ask them to ship it a different method...I have NEVER had a package actually get searched at customs when shipping EMS for example. This is the service I normally have when I buy replicas from other sites (it takes normally 5-8days to get them though) It of course goes through customs but never seems they actually open it. DHL Express for some reason seems to be getting searched...maybe because its an expensive fast service...idk.

you know
rebecca said you could pay by western union and have it shipped to a different address too
just someone you trust i guess
and of course they do require signature
about shipping
i bought the Air Mag Air Max which glow in the dark thru E-packet and yea had no problems with customs. took 10 days from china to texas. actually less since it was a weekend order and processing time took about 2 more days.

I would be using my next door neighbors houses.

Mine came DHL Express, but customs actually opened the box which of course is risky. I was saying EMS it seems as though they don't actually open the box (or do so more randomly) EMS of course has much more volume then DHL Express too, which might be why they can't search them all.

Most of the time, USPS will be doing the last mile delivery for these sort of packages regardless of shipping company...and the USPS LOVES to make you sign for stuff originating from China. So if your neighbor doesn't know it's coming, then you may find your shoes sent back. It's better to just get it shipped directly to you.
