Nike MAG replicas (V2 and V3 only)

I agree i think the swoosh hunter is a better quality shoe minus the light's that the mag's have,Pretty hard shoe to work with.

waiting to see your next finished project RVLF

Me too ^^ ... as soon as I get some time and find a correct shoelast, I'll finish a "Mag project" that has been sitting on the shelve -_- (but before, I need to figureout some stuffs about painting and test some other things)

This shoe would totally rock if it didn't have all the seams. Granted, they are hidden to a degree, but how cool would it have been to used the MAG template for this shoe?

Just swung me a deal that should allow me to buy some V3s sooner than later :)

there's a few Mag inspired sneakers out.
I saw this one the other day.
Nike Kwazi, sort of a mix of huarche, and some sock style toe.

also
Nike Marxman which is similar to the Swoosh Hunter

Yes and no. NIKE must know from them or at least the V2 from all the times #NikeMAG has been posted on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc. I don't think it is that big a deal for them or they would have taken action already by just releasing a cheaper version (no lights) of the real shoe. They would know that these Chinese companies can disappear over night, so what are they going chase anyway?

Out of curiosity, if given the choice to buy these V3s for $600 or a real NIKE MAG with no lights for say $500, what would you buy?

The V2s must be known.
I've posted mine on eBay- clearly stating they are not the authentic and had my auction pulled my eBay 4 times in the past week.
Either someone hates me or Nike Australia are vigilant.

I also posted them on Facebook and the post was deleted by Facebook within an hour and I got a notice saying Facebook doesn't condone illegal products.

There's also an appetite for them. And people could so easily be scammed.
On eBay the first day I got 11 PMs asking to buy them... Everyone thinking they were the real deals. Even though my ad specifically said they were not.
On Facebook in that first hour I got 5 PMs. Begging for them. All thinking they are RD. Rinse cycle repeat.

And the V2s arent modded except for the strap.
So I imagine people are getting scammed left right and Centre out there :(

Ahh interesting. When I listed that pair of US13s that I had modded, I did so on the US site. Should have put more on them as I got what I had listed them for. Oh well, you live and learn. Of course I got a heap of messages asking if I'd let them go for $200, because that is all they wanted to spend.

Now never had V2 pulled from FB before. Even on a sneaker head page. I did ask if anyone in Brisbane had the real shoe and that these were my replicas.

October last year, I wore my MAGs into a NIKE outlet at a DFO and I got mixed reactions from the staff where one guy was casting daggers to the point he might ask me to leave. Everyone else was super excited to see these on my feet (in October 2015) and were asking heaps of questions.

Unfortunately, they are. if people recognise the shoes as BTTF, even when they see HC MAGs, get wood.

I get them not wanting to make a leather MAG because of the amount of material it uses, but synthetics like the mesh should not even be a consideration.

Do you guys think this will be a limited run or do you think they'll make as many as there are V2s? I guess I just don't want to miss the opportunity to buy them because I can't come up with the money at the moment.

I think they will be making quite a few so long as people buy them. People have wanted these shoes since 1989. Now for the first time we have an almost perfect replica and people will buy these based on the fact that they are almost identical to the real shoe.

Yeah I hope so. You planning on making soles for the V3s too?

I guess time will tell. Your blue tint soles would look sick on these.

The soles on these are so beautifully made, anyone who decides to rip them off for a bit of yellowing would have to have some huge balls! Everything on this shoe regarding the structure is next to as perfect as it can be without being the actual Mags. If you had them in your hands I think you'd be reluctant to mod them at all unless you've got some SERIOUS skills.
